Best Friends is having a Lalapalooza spay/neuter day on April 29th they can take any that we bring. I have some traps and carriers that you can borrow. I don’t do the trapping anymore but I might be able to transport some.

Sign up with me for this special event. I can show you how to trap. Or you can borrow carriers if you have friendly cats.

You have to do the work, though, but you can get with friends and work together. You must follow through and be there on the morning of.

You or your group will have to be at Best Friends Clinic in Kanab Utah at 8am to drop off and pick up the cats by 4pm.

Message me if you’re interested. This rarely happens.

I also have some May dates if the 29th doesn’t work for you. Let me know.

3 of our 5 from the feral mama we took in, have now died. Rejected at birth but we were on top of it and started feeding right away. They were eating, they were gaining weight, they were fine but one by one they are going.

It seems like typical Fading Kitten Syndrome but did they pick up something toxic in the womb from the dead baby that was in there, too? Did they just die because of no mama love?

It is so heartbreaking. All this suffering can be avoided by spaying and neutering.

We are waiting to see if the last two are going to fade away. We are doing our best but our wee Rescue can only do so much.

Thanks to my hubby Brian G Scott and Jodi Rae Maxwell For doing their absolute best to feed and keep these kittens warm and loved.

We as a rescue and many rescues here are trying to stop this s**t.

Having pregnant cats, allowing cats to give birth and then allowing the kittens to suffer is NOT CUTE.

This mom gave birth, oh it was cute, but cats naturally take care of their kittens so we didn't bug them.

Except in this case mom had no milk, the babies didn't eat and I'm assuming on day 4-5 the lady finally reached out because one died. One died in transport.

Two of the five remaining were at 78 grams and 80 grams. Average birth weight is 100 grams. They suffered and now they are dead. Note photo attached.

The other three are eating, but may not make it. Did I get those three in time? Are their organs slowly shutting down? Did this cause damage to their heart and at some point will stop?

They also had horrid coccidia, so even by chance if they were nursing their body couldn't absorb the nutrients.

This is the s**t rescues see, we see so much bad that we don't even put it on Facebook because it's that bed.

We get calls about moms in labor and they are struggling, take them to the ER then people are pi**ed at us.

My cat is giving birth but the babies are dead. Take the cat to the ER, never fear pi**ed again.

My cat gave birth but I don't think she has any milk the babies won't stop screaming. Good luck with that.

Mom gave birth and I went to bed and mom is dead?

Mom gave birth on the porch and we found her hit by a cat this morning.

My cat gave birth but is pouring out blood.

My cat gave birth two weeks ago but she really smells. Hum like an infection? Vet time.

IF you have a pregnant cat right now and you can pick her up and bring her to me in a carrier. I have three female spots for tomorrow. I want pregnant cats I want the babies and the suffering to stop.

Hi folks, this is what I’ve been up to.

I’m making bags for donations to our Rescue CatTerrific Rescue. The bigger tote bag I’ve embellished with a large outside pocket with the kitty picture and our logo on the back.

1 ft ruler shown for scale.

The smaller hand bag I made myself. There will be more of these of different cat prints and colors.

These totes are Two examples of what I’ll be making with different colors and cat pictures.

What do you think? Suggestions on “suggested donation” requested.

These are very strong canvas tote bags I bought and added to. As a bonus a pencil/ makeup zip bag is included with the larger tote.

HI folks, due to several factors, (no funds, a deteriorating health condition) I am no longer doing rescues. I will continue to help where I can but I will not be accepting any more cats or kittens.

I can still get appointments at Best Friends for spay/neuter/vax for people (sometimes) and I can loan traps and carriers but I cannot do these things myself anymore.

I will take care of the cats we have onsite so therefore we still need help with feeding costs and vet bills. So donations still welcome.

Thank you everyone but it's time for our community to pick up where I leave off and do the good work.

Hello folks, We at CatTerrific Rescue have been helping our community for a number of years. We have facilitated over a 100 cat neuterings last year alone in our community which extrapolates to over 1000s of kittens having kittens having kittens.

Maybe you're unaware that we have sometimes been able to get free spay/neuter appointments at Best Friends. We also help with minor health issues and sometimes with food and other help.

We cannot take in any more cats and as it turns out we will not be able to continue without your help. I've posted this campaign 3 times since December and not one person from this community has donated even $1. Without support from our community we will not be able to continue our support of the community. We cannot run on empty.

Hello everyone, We need help. We have been serving our community here is Cane Beds, Colorado City, Centennial Park, Hildale and even Apple Valley for several years with cat neutering and health issues and other stuff. But without community support we will not be able to continue helping.

Please can you spare even a small donation? A Rescue cannot keep going without funds. We will have to shutter our rescue if we cannot get community support. We support the community and the community needs to support us. Thanks
