With the snowy roads and freezing temperatures expected in the morning we have decided to close Bark Avenue for Tuesday, December 9th. We have been able to reach most all of our scheduled clients to let them know of the closure for tomorrow but if you haven’t heard from us and have an appointment please know that we tried to reach you to reschedule and we are closed Dec 9th.

We are busy this week getting everyone’s best friends ready for the Thanksgiving holiday but we just wanted to remind everyone that we will be closed on Thanksgiving day and for the remainder of the week and weekend to spend time with family and friends. We will reopen on Monday Dec 1st. We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃

This is Daisy and she needs our help. She belonged to my mom’s best friend who unexpectedly passed away last night. Unfortunately none of her owners family can take her and we are really trying to find her a home to keep her from ending up at the animal shelter. She’s is 8 years old and already grieving the loss of her mom so we all know the shelter would be a devastating place for her to end up. She’s a medium sized Lab/hound mix. She loves kids and does well with cats and other dogs. She is also a very velcro kind of dog and is used to sleeping in bed with her mom every night. If anyone is interested in her or knows someone who might be interested please send them my way and please feel free to share this post so we can find a home for Daisy to share her love with and to live out her golden years with. 💛

We are currently experiencing an internet outage issue with Comcast. They are working on getting it fixed as quickly as possible but until they do we are unable to receive or make phone calls and process credit/debit card payments. We will call you from our personal cell phones to let you know when your fur babies are ready to be picked up. Please bring cash or check. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

We would love to help you recycle your old towels! We use a clean fresh towel on each dog or cat that comes in for grooming which means we do ALOT of laundry and alot of replacing towels. If you have any used towels with a little life left in them please consider bringing them to us! We are always super appreciative of any towel donations! Thanks!

UPDATE!!!!!!…..Thanks to our wonderful groomer Emily Frankie has been found!! It was after dark, that’s her sitting in the corner by the curb. Emily opened up the salon door and waited for in her car hoping that she would just go in on her own but it took her Emily laying down on that sidewalk to get her to come to her but she did it! She is back in our salon safe!!! Thank you to everyone who shared our post, we are so thankful!!

LOST!!!
We rescued this sweet girl from the Publix parking lot a few months ago. This morning shortly before 8am while she was waiting for us to get to the salon and greet us in the lobby as she usually does something spooked her and she bolted out the door as we came in.
It took us a while to get her comfortable with people and although she has come to love us and is super friendly with us she is still timid around strangers. If you see her please call the salon or if it’s after hours please message our page. Her name is Frankie and she is a tortie shell female with a tipped ear and her tail hangs rather than her being able to hold it up. Please share our post and help us bring Frankie home. 804-520-2275
