Tails are wagging and pets are bragging about Bark Avenue! Call for an appointment!

09/21/2026

Well… this doesn’t happen very often! 🐾

We’re usually booked out a few weeks in advance, but somehow the grooming stars have aligned and we have a handful of unexpected openings at Bark Avenue — including a few THIS WEEK and some NEXT WEEK! ✂️🐶

So if you’ve been meaning to get your pup cleaned up, trimmed up, deshedded, or just smelling a whole lot better, now is the perfect chance to snag an appointment without the usual wait!

These spots are first come, first served and once they’re gone, we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled “How far out are y’all booking?” 😂

📞 Call us to grab one!

And if your dog currently looks like they’ve been living their best feral life all summer… we’re talking to you!!! 👀🐕🐩

Mojo came in to get groomed today after his big adventure that had all of Colonial Heights worrying about him! He says thanks everyone!!!

Pupdate!!!!…..Mojo was found!! He apparently had fallen into a ravine behind their house but never barked or made a sound to let anyone know that he was there. He’s been rescued and back in his mom’s arms!!!

Ok guys, we need your help!! In the middle of the night I found out that one of my dearest clients went missing from his home near the Dunlop Condos area.
His mom and dad are worried sick and have been out searching for him until 1am. Hopefully once the sun rises this morning it will be easier to spot him or we are hoping that maybe someone picked him up last night and he’s safe and they will call animal control today. Mojo is a super sweet little senior guy and loves food! Please if anyone sees him feel free to call the salon or his mom directly at 804-720-9666. And please share our post and get the word out!

With the snowy roads and freezing temperatures expected in the morning we have decided to close Bark Avenue for Tuesday, December 9th. We have been able to reach most all of our scheduled clients to let them know of the closure for tomorrow but if you haven’t heard from us and have an appointment please know that we tried to reach you to reschedule and we are closed Dec 9th.
Feel free to post pics and videos of your furry friends enjoying their snow day!

We are busy this week getting everyone’s best friends ready for the Thanksgiving holiday but we just wanted to remind everyone that we will be closed on Thanksgiving day and for the remainder of the week and weekend to spend time with family and friends. We will reopen on Monday Dec 1st. We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃

We are currently experiencing an internet outage issue with Comcast. They are working on getting it fixed as quickly as possible but until they do we are unable to receive or make phone calls and process credit/debit card payments. We will call you from our personal cell phones to let you know when your fur babies are ready to be picked up. Please bring cash or check. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

For the safety of our staff and clients we will be closed today. Thank you for your understanding. We hope you enjoy this snow day and would love to see pictures of your pets playing in it!!

Merry Christmas to everyone!!

We would love to help you recycle your old towels! We use a clean fresh towel on each dog or cat that comes in for grooming which means we do ALOT of laundry and alot of replacing towels. If you have any used towels with a little life left in them please consider bringing them to us! We are always super appreciative of any towel donations! Thanks!
