Tuesday is National Dog Walker Appreciation Day!

A Huge Shout out to Kimberly, our very own Beach Paws Team Member and Rover Dog Walker!

National Dog Walker Appreciation Day is for the men and women who walk millions of miles each day, exercising and entertaining mankind's furry, four-legged friends. Whether walking with Rover, another business, a friend or a colleague, dog walkers everywhere deserve a little extra gratitude today.

Picking up p**p is just one part of a dog walker's job, and it's the easiest part. Everyone has a special story about the dog walker who rushed across town to let the dog out when its owner got stuck at work, or who watered the plants, fed the fish and watched the house while the family was away on vacation. Dog walkers go above and beyond the call of duty every day; yet, most people have no idea how demanding the job is. National Dog Walker Appreciation Day gives walkers the long overdue spotlight they've earned.

Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day is observed annually on August 28, falling on a Friday in 2026. This day honors the beloved pets who have passed away and crossed the metaphorical "Rainbow Bridge".

Founded by Deborah Barnes in 2015 to honor her late cat Mr. Jazz, the observance provides pet owners a dedicated time to process grief and celebrate the unconditional love of their animal companions.

Ways to Observe
🐾 Look through photos: Spend time revisiting pictures and happy memories of your pet.
🐾 Share online: Post a tribute using the hashtag .
🐾 Support shelters: Visit a local animal shelter, light a memorial candle, or make a donation in your pet's honor.
🐾 Place a Remembrance on the Rainbow Bridge Wall at Robin Grove Dog Park.
