!! S U P R I S E !!

It's my first out of town dog sitting!! ✈️

I am so honored to have the opportunity to come to Phoenix to dogsit for such a special family! 🥰 Daisy, Bowie, and Ziggy have been the most wonderful hosts, and we have been having lots of fun going on walks and snuggling when the heat gets to be too much outside!

The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the cherry on top is getting to see Max 💖 We helped him and his mom move down here in February and it has been SUCH a long time since we got to hang! I've never seen his tail wag so much or so fast 🥹

I am truly so lucky to get to call this my career ; thank you to everyone back home who is helping to support this dream come true!

Did you know a new battery energy storage facility is being proposed for the Bowling Township, Rock Island County

These facilities charge batteries when electricity demand is low and discharge that energy back to the grid when demand is higher. While supporters say this helps stabilize the electric grid, many residents have serious concerns that deserve answers before this project moves forward.

⚠️ Fire Safety: Lithium-ion battery fires are difficult to manage and require specialized training, equipment, and response plans. Residents should know whether local fire departments have the resources and training needed to respond to an incident.

🔊 Noise: These battery storage facilities use large cooling fans that can run for long periods and may create noticeable noise for nearby residents.

🏡 Community Impact: What will this mean for nearby homes, property values, emergency response, and the quality of life in the surrounding area?

If you have concerns, don't stay silent. Speak up. Attend public meetings. Ask questions. Contact your local elected officials. Your voice matters, and once decisions are made, they can be difficult to reverse.

I love tossing broken up treats or pieces of kibble around on the ground for the pups when the weather forces us in! It gives them a little extra enrichment and mental stimulation, plus helps get some more movement in to their days!
