Mounted Justice shooting competition at Rusty B was SO much fun!
I originally was going to compete on Zoltan but decided to bring Zorro along for fun - I noticed he seemed very unbothered by the shots so I said heck with it. Give it a go. So we did! Zorro didn’t flinch once and we ended up with third overall in our level! Zorro is now approximately 26 years old and partially retired (he prefers not to enjoy retirement and wants to go fast still 😂) so as long as he’s healthy and sound, I let him come out and play on occasion! He totally had no issue with all this noise and just wanted to go fast! I love my old man. He always tries his hardest for me! ♥️

The rescue race with Julia was HYSTERICAL. We got 2nd!

Zorro’s pole run, first time in over a year! Old man still got it ♥️

I decided to let old man Zorro come out to play and oh boy, did he. 😂 he had so much fun and basically won everything and we got Adult High Point!
Luna took Tiny Tot high point and lots of firsts and we had a blast doing the partner races and winning most of them! 😄
Colton and Eleanor also rode Prince and got lots of great ribbons and had so much fun hanging out.
Paige and Journey and Julia and Moon kicked butt too!

Glow up update!! ✨
Saruhan “Roo” is looking and feeling AMAZING!!
He’s put on so much weight and muscle and has been such an awesome stallion. He loves his second mom Stacy more than anyone and has been such a gentleman! Hoping soon to take him to get collected and get some babies sired!

Forgot to post about the first endurance ride of the year! Mother’s Day weekend we had blast camping at Kettle Moraine and doing the Glacier Trails endurance ride!
Luna and Prince placed second
Sassy and I placed third (her first time!)
And Paige and Zoltan fourth in a group of 13!
My heart is always full when my horses always behave so well but also have high marks in their body condition and fitness!
