www.straycatblues.org Mission Statement: Stray Cat Blues, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We rescue stray and abandoned cats and kittens located primarily in Montgomery and Bucks and other suburban Philadelphia counties, and find them safe and appropriate homes. Personally, SCB is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for ab

andoned cats. We are professional in our practices, but we are emotional on the subject of homeless cats, and the ways in which we humans can work to prevent this epidemic of strays. Stray Cat Blues actively works to recruit permanent homes for the stray cats in our program. All the animals are screened for feline leukemia, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Healthy, adoptable cats are then housed through our network of foster homes. Our kittens and cats are exposed to the pet-loving public at our 4 different adoption cage locations to facilitate adoptions and to provide visibility for the organization. In addition to placement of sociable cats and kittens, a major focus of Stray Cat Blues is to place feral and unsociable cats in qualified barn homes. Like our house cats, our barn cats are delivered to their new homes by a Stray Cat Blues volunteer. We provide our barn cats with a cozy "cat condominium" to live in for the first few weeks of life in their new location. The crate allows the cats to acclimate to their new home without the danger of having them run away in search of their old stomping grounds. We are willing to go to great lengths for our cats - quite literally! We will gladly travel to approved barn homes within an approximate 100 mile radius of the Lansdale and Montgomeryville area to deliver our helpful mousers. Most of our cats are strays and their offspring that are rescued from area locations. Many of these strays are more than willing to be helped by our volunteers. But for those animals that are more wary of humans, especially the feral cats, we utilize humane traps. Many of our kittens are born to mother cats that we have rescued. Email: [email protected]

Hi! My name is Gemma (DOB 6/6/26), and I’m a beautiful black-and-white tuxedo kitten with a sweet face and an even sweeter personality. I’m cute, cuddly, curious, and always ready for my next adventure!

My very best friend is my sister, Ginger. We do pretty much everything together. We love to snuggle, play, explore, and—of course—get into a little trouble! Ginger may be the more adventurous one, but I’m never far behind. If she’s going somewhere, you can bet I’m following!

Our foster mom says we’re almost impossible to photograph together because the second she walks into the room, we’re off and running! We are VERY high-energy girls who love to jump, climb, pounce, chase, and play. We can keep ourselves entertained for hours, especially when we have each other to play with.

But don’t let all that energy fool you—we’re also incredibly sweet and friendly. We’ve been around humans our entire lives, and we love being around people. We just happen to believe that cuddles are best enjoyed in between zoomies!

Ginger and I are truly inseparable, and we’d love to find a family who will let us continue growing, playing, exploring, and loving life together.

Hi! My name is Ginger (DOB 6/6/26), and I’m an adorable female tuxedo kitten with a beauty mark and an upside-down heart on my face. Can I get any cuter?! I promise, if you meet me, you will love me!!

I’m best pals with my sister, Gemma. We love to snuggle, play, and explore everything together. Sometimes I’m the more adventurous one, and Gemma happily follows along. Before we know it, we’ve found ourselves in all kinds of shenanigans!

Thanks to a generous grant from the ASPCA, we’ve expanded into two full weeks of fee-waived adoptions for some very special Stray Cat Blues cats!

🏡 Home For Every Heart
September 14–20
Adoption fees are waived for cats who have been in foster care for more than six months. These wonderful cats have been waiting a little longer for their person — and we’d love to make this the week they finally find them.

💕 Senior Snuggles
October 5–11
Adoption fees are waived for cats ages 7 and older! Our senior cats have so much love left to give and are ready to spend their golden years with families of their own.

All adopters must complete our standard adoption application and approval process. You can get started now at straycatblues.org/adopt.

During these special weeks, you can also visit participating cats at our PetSmart Adoption Centers in North Wales and Collegeville.

💕 Meet Gabby!

Gabby is a four-month-old sweetheart who was rescued from outdoors as a stray. She’s gentle, affectionate, and loves being petted and showered with attention. She absolutely loves other cats and would be happiest with a feline friend in her new home. 🐾

Gabby may be a little timid at first, so she needs a patient adopter and a quiet home with no small children where she can relax and come out of her shell. She hasn’t met dogs yet, but may do well with a calm, gentle dog.

Pippi is a beautiful tortoiseshell, short-haired adult girl who may be shy and reserved at first, but once she gets to know you, she’ll show you just how much she enjoys your company. She’s quiet, independent, and a wonderful communicator who has no trouble letting you know exactly what she wants.
Whether she’s asking for attention or telling you that it’s time for a good brushing session, Pippi knows how to get her message across—and her love of being brushed is absolutely adorable!

Pippi is spayed and front declawed. She previously lived with Tigger #19538 and Smokey #19541, so she has experience sharing her home with other cats. While she appreciates having her own space, Pippi truly enjoys her humans and would love a calm, patient person who will let her blossom at her own pace.
