Internal parasites can affect horses of any age, and the signs are not always obvious. Here are five things to watch for this fall:

🔸 Dull, rough coat
🔸 Loss of condition despite a good diet
🔸 Colic symptoms or loose stool
🔸 Slowed growth in foals and young horses
🔸 Distended, pot-bellied abdomen

If you notice any of these, contact your veterinarian. They can help you build a parasite control plan based on your horse’s age, environment, and f***l egg count results.

Not sure what something on your prescription means?

We’d rather you ask than guess.

Questions about your horse’s condition or treatment plan belong with your veterinarian. Questions about your prescribed medication? That’s where your veterinarian and pharmacist can help.

Good communication matters.
