As temperatures rise, so does the risk of heat stroke in our furry friends. 🐶🐱 Heat stroke can be life-threatening, and it can happen FAST—sometimes in just 10–15 minutes!
Don’t let your dog become a “hot dog”!
Keep them cool, hydrated, and out of the heat.
Watch for signs like:
🔥 Excessive panting or drooling
🔥 Lethargy or weakness
🔥 Vomiting or diarrhea
🔥 Bright red gums or tongue
🔥 Collapse or unresponsiveness
🚫NEVER leave pets in a parked car (even with windows cracked) and limit exercise during the hottest parts of the day. ☀️
✅ Provide shade and fresh water
✅ Use air conditioning or fans
✅ Walk early in the morning or after sunset
✅ Test the pavement with your hand—if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them!
🕶️ Stay cool, stay safe, and keep those “hot dogs” chill this summer! 🐾
