This is one of the few things we’d ask you not to wait on. 🐾

If your dog’s back paw folds under and they walk on the top of it without correcting, that’s worth a call to your veterinarian this week rather than next month.

We won’t guess at a cause from a video — that’s their job. But it belongs on the short list of things worth checking early.

Tecar is one most Pet Parents have never come across. 🐾

It’s a warming, deep-working therapy that’s usually combined with hands-on treatment rather than used alone.

If you’re curious whether it fits your dog, that’s a good question for a call.

Home is where your dog does most of their moving, so it’s where most of the wins are. 💛

• Rugs or runners on hard floors — slipping costs confidence fast
• A ramp for the car and the couch, before it’s a struggle
• Shorter walks more often, rather than one long one
• Nails kept short, so their feet land properly

None of it replaces a proper look, but all of it helps.

There’s a stretch with an older dog that nobody warns you about. 💛

They’re still themselves. They’re just doing less of it, and you notice every week.

It doesn’t always mean the end of the road. Comfort, strength and confidence are all still workable.

Shockwave has the most alarming name of anything in the building, and it isn’t what people picture. 🐾

It’s focused pressure waves directed at a specific area — no electricity involved.

Whether it suits your dog depends on what’s going on, which is what the assessment is for.

Stiff for the first few steps, then loose again — one of the most common things Pet Parents describe to us. 🐾

It’s easy to shrug off precisely because it improves.

But a body that needs ten minutes to warm up is telling you something about the joints doing the warming.

“Rehab 4 Pets and Dr. Broadhurst were truly a blessing to our family. Our dog suffered from IVDD and was completely paralyzed in her back legs. She had spinal surgery but needed intense rehab to regain her strength and coordination to walk independently again. Dr. Broadhurst worked with our stubborn girl and between laser therapy, the water treadmill, and various exercises, our dog is back to her normal self - running and playing again. Dr. Broadhurst was wonderful to work with and our dog was always beyond excited to go to Rehab 4 Pets (the treats and belly rubs are unmatched!). We will forever be grateful!”
