Boo Boo needs a new home! He is a lovely bird but will be noisy, as birds are, for 1/2 - 1 hour a day. If you have bird experience and are looking to open your home to a new friend, please reach out. Boo-boo will be leaving the home on Monday. If there is interest the owner can hold Boo Boo for longer. Contact me for contact information.
BooBoo is a 27 year old red headed conure.I have had him for 16 years and he is a very affectionate bird once he gets to know you. He gets along with dogs and cats. He is not clipped and likes to fly. He also likes to walk around and chase the cat. He is vocal for 1/2 hour a day, usually between 3PM and 5PM. He also likes to talk when you are on the phone. I let him out 4-5 hours a day. He plays on his pet dog, sits on his perch or plays on his cage top play pen. He eats primarily a seed diet. He likes blue berries, peach pieces and pastina. He would do well in a one bird home or with someone who has a number of birds in separate cages. He likes his freedom and would not do well being caged all the time. He has been clipped before and tolerated it, he walked instead of flew. He likes to chew and has lots of chew toys. A small cardboard box woks well. He has is cage, pet dog and bird stand
