LEASH is officially live. 🎉
And no, this isn’t some brand-new training method we dreamed up last week.
It’s the way we’ve been training dogs for years, just cleaned up, organized, and made easier to understand.
Because behavior doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
Sometimes we need to teach a skill. Sometimes communication is muddy. Sometimes a dog needs help regulating. And sometimes there are needs underneath the behavior that need to be looked at.
Meet the needs that training can’t replace. Then build the skills, communication, and relationship that help everything else actually stick.
That’s what LEASH helps us look at:
L — Life Rhythm & Health
E — Enrichment & Fulfillment
A — Arousal Regulation
S — Skills & Communication
H — Human Connection
It helps us stop chasing the loudest behavior and start asking a better question:
What does this dog actually need to be more successful here?
The goal isn’t five perfect pillars or a dog who never makes a questionable life choice.
It’s more capacity, clarity, and connection...so the training has somewhere to land.
This is the framework behind how we train at Tri-Dog, and we're SO excited to finally have words for something we’ve been doing all along.
