When our community comes together, incredible things happen. ❤️🐾
Yesterday, during church services, eight tiny puppies—whose eyes aren’t even open yet—were abandoned at the church I attend. As heartbreaking as the situation was, what happened next reminded me why I’m so proud to be part of this community.
I want to say thank you to Coleman Canine Collective, fellow rescuers, local animal lovers, veterinarians, donors, foster families, and everyone who reached out, shared the posts, offered supplies, prayed, or simply asked how they could help. When an emergency arose, our community didn’t hesitate to step in.
Animal rescue is never the responsibility of one person or one organization. It takes a village. It takes people willing to sacrifice their time, resources, sleep, and hearts to give vulnerable animals a chance at life. Watching everyone pull together and use every available resource to care for these precious babies has been truly inspiring.
These little ones have a long road ahead, but because this community chose compassion over indifference, they now have hope.
While we’re grateful they’re safe, let this also be a reminder that these situations are preventable. Spaying and neutering our pets is one of the greatest gifts we can give them and our community. There are resources available to help, and preventing unwanted litters means fewer animals end up in heartbreaking situations like this.
I feel incredibly blessed to be part of a community that treats one another like family when it matters most. God entrusted us with His creation, and it’s a beautiful thing to watch His people come together to care for the least of these.
Thank you for proving, once again, that love, compassion, and teamwork can make all the difference.
Together, we’re giving these eight tiny lives the chance they deserve. 🐶❤️
