We are pleased to announce this breeding of two all clear and high drive boykins:
HRCH SGA’s Smoke on the Water X HR Creekside’s Millie
HRCH SGA’s Smoke on the water (Smoke) is owned by our friends Ken and Angie Sellers of South Georgia Kennels and is all clear genetically with good hips. Smoke is a very high drive and easily trainable dog. He is currently in training at Hudson River Retrievers and has earned his finished title in HRC, and training for master. Smoke just placed 2nd in intermediate at the Boykin Spaniel Nationals in intermediate for 2026. He is well mannered when not in the field and thrives to please.

HR Creekside’s Millie NR (Millie) is out of two finished level boykins. HRCH KJ Just Buck MHR the Breeds top producing sire of UKC titled offspring, and HRCH Creekside’s Sunshine. Millie is a very high drive dog in the field with a huge water entry, and a desire to please. She is extremely fast, and marks well. She earned a JAM at the 2020 BSS National field trial, a few first place finishes along with multiple other placements in club trials when she was actively training. She now hunts with me regularly during Dove and Duck seasons, and regularly accompanies me to the office many days of the week. She is a very loving and affectionate dog who can go from a hard charging retriever in the field to a lazy couch potato at the flip of a switch. She weighs in at 31 pounds, and is all clear genetically with excellent hips.

The litter will be BSS, UKC, and AKC registered. Will come with LP registration until all health tests are completed, and results returned to me. Pups will go home at 8 weeks, microchipped, tails docked, wormed, and with up to date vaccinations. They should make extraordinary hunt test or hunting dogs with huge potential.
