As I've stated before, Copper has shown his owners some pretty scary food aggression behaviors, so teaching and enforcing a leave it and an out is very important.

We have been working on leave it with his kibble, treats and such with great success. But when it comes to "human" food, he would gobble it down as fast as he could, so I decided to back up my leave it command with an e-collar tap. His e-collar is set at 25 out of 100, and as you can see by the end of the second video he was able to walk around it, be in proximity to it and not try to gobble it up as fast as Doggy possibly.

Copper has progressed to almost off leash status! He's doing so great! He is one of the coolest dogs I've worked with, minus the Bassett bay! 🤣

🔶 Dog Training Challenge ️🔶️

Here is a quick informational video about making sure you have a reward marker for your dog! It can be "yes" or a clicker, it doesn't matter, just be consistent in what they mean!

Challenge starts next Tuesday!
