🐴❤️ A WELL-DESERVED RETIREMENT FOR AJ!
After nearly 10 years of faithful service with the National Lancers in Massachusetts, AJ is preparing to hang up his working shoes and head to Pinney Stables Sanctuary for his retirement!
Before his years with the Lancers, AJ had a career in the jumper ring, but eventually became ring sour. He went on to find a new purpose as a service horse, participating in parades, ceremonies, public events, and everything else that comes with the job. He's spent the better part of a decade being a dependable partner, and now it's his turn to be taken care of!
We are incredibly excited to welcome AJ to the farm, but with his arrival quickly approaching, we have some work to do. Unfortunately, we haven't had the opportunity to do any fundraising for AJ's retirement just yet. We are hoping to find monthly sponsors who would like to be part of giving this deserving boy a safe, comfortable, and secure retirement.
As many of you know, caring for a retired horse is no small expense. Between hay, grain, veterinary care, farrier visits, medications when needed, and the everyday costs of keeping a horse happy and healthy, the bills add up quickly. Monthly sponsorships, big or small, will help us cover AJ's ongoing expenses and ensure that he can spend his retirement right here, enjoying everything he's worked so hard to earn.
