Disbudding services!

It’s that time of year with babies arriving.
Things to remember:
✅ Moms need CDT 30-45 days before kidding to cover kids against tetanus or you will have to provide Tetanus Antitoxin to babies

✅Disbudding needs done as soon as you can feel a bud starting to grow. Usually between 5-14 days.

✅We will not disbud babies older than 14 days or horns that have come thru the skin.

✅Here we use Alusheild. If you prefer a different spray please let us know ahead of time and you will have to provide that.

Happy 2026!!!

We are ready to start our schedule for 2026!! Most of our herds have hoof trims every 6months, or a yearly hoof trim/disease testing day/CDT day!
To make scheduling easier, if you could comment or private message me which month/months you need to make an appointment I can plan around your stops!
YES we will still offer scheduling as needed but this may make it easier for everyone. The 1st of the month you choose I can get with you to select an exact date.
Contact me now to be first priority for the coming 2026 schedule!!

As always, minimum stop fee is $150 for Tate, Desoto, Marshall, and Panola counties.
Add an extra $50 for surrounding counties.

Per service, (minimum stop fee $25) for animals brought for driveway services here at our farm:

We can also assist with:
⭐️Paperwork for starting milk test and information to get started with a lab.

⭐️Help understanding body condition scoring, Famacha, and choosing a parasite prevention plan(We are FAMACHA certified)
⭐️”for fun” non diagnostic ultrasound services, for donation only

Our farm services team looks a little bit different right now! Tony is still healing from some injuries so the boys are assisting. Our kids have grown up with goats and handle a lot of it on our farm, so they are some of the best help for farm jobs!

Nathan and Anthony would be happy to help if you wanted to get on our schedule! We have no more scheduled stops for the rest of the year so let us know if you want hooves trimmed, or other services.

$150 minimum stop fee includes hooves and CDT for 10 goats, OR hooves only for 15 goats. Added fees per service on additional animals.
I am FAMACHA certified and have over 10 years experience to help you with your goat or sheep care needs!

9am - 8pm Tuesday
9am - 4pm Wednesday
9am - 8pm Thursday
7am - 1pm Friday

We are NOT available weekends.

It’s that time of year! Fall is breeding season for a lot of farms, and time to get hooves trimmed, CDT updated, copper bolus done, and disease testing updated!

Need help working your flock or herd? Message us to get on the schedule!

We are available most week days and locally some Saturdays if needed.

$150 minimum stop fee no matter herd size, which will cover services up to $150. PM me for pricing.

This evening we got to go help at Coop’d Up!
They now also sell Tucker Milling feeds in addition to building coops! Some cochin chickens available now also AND they have a farm store with other local goodies. Highway 4 in Senatobia.

We have been trimming hooves, and helping get whoever needed dewormed taken care of!

We are FAMACHA certified. Message me for more information on hoof trimmings and over all wellness checks so I can train you how to recognize when your animals need something. We generally have an open schedule Tuesdays or Thursdays any time, Monday evening only, and Wednesday and Friday mornings.

We got to meet this one of 8 stunning mini Nubians this evening for disbudding day when we realized this stunning girl may be polled!

I’m not sure which are available but if you want to see some of the prettiest high quality mini Nubians we have seen, check out Rainey Blue Farms! She has the best pendulous ears, and Roman noses! If you want true breed standard minis check them out.

Quick reminder:
For disbudding does MUST have CDT during pregnancy to cover kids OR you have to have tetanus antitoxin handy to give kids when we disbud or I will NOT be able to disbud the babies. I will not risk causing tetanus in your babies. It may be worth the risk for you but it is not for me.

It is currently out of stock everywhere I have looked for. Please please please order as soon as you see available.

Hercules was “cheesing” after getting his hooves done today at Adobe Ranch.
They have some gorgeous Nigerians there and so many other farm friends.
If you need hay, or locally raised pork, beef, honey or eggs check them out!!

**Stud Services**

It’s breeding season now!! Perfect time to breed for early spring kids. Goats bred today should be due in late March which puts us past most of the freezing days!!

We are offering our boys for stud. Registered Nigerian Dwarf boys and some mini alpine boys available.

You will just need proof of negative disease testing. We can help pull the blood for you!

We can also help demonstrate how to use an ultrasound to confirm pregnancies.

Let me know if anyone is interested in stud services this next month. We are nearly done breeding here so all boys available

We had a great day today visiting Ark Farms!

If you need any coops check out their Coop’d Up coops and raised planters!
They also have some processed chickens that will be available soon!!

If you need any photos of your farm, or any animal related services give us a call! We are available to travel in Tate, Desoto, Marshall and Panola counties most Tuesday and Thursdays.

**Schedule Open for Services**

We are preparing to get our August and September farm services scheduled!
If your farm needs help with yearly disease testing before breeding starts this fall, hoof trims, or help catching up on CDTs, we have no appointments scheduled for August or September yet!!

$150 Minimum Stop fee includes services (up to that amount)

$10/goat hoof trims(all farms must have own hoof trimmers. We can order those for you if requested)

$10/goat disbud (we ask farms provide their own box and dams must have had CDT during pregnancy to prevent tetanus)

$5/goat disease testing (fee covers my supplies only. Lab will bill you separately depending on tests requested)

We can do goats or sheep!

Schedule is available on Monday evening, Tuesday any time, Wednesday Morning, Thursday anytime(unless my work schedule changes)

PM to be added to our schedule August or September!
