Friendly reminder to secure your pets before fireworks begin! Be safe and happy 4th ❤️🤍💙

Fireworks will be starting soon! Here are a few tips to keep your pup happy and safe during the holiday:
⭐️Make sure they have a comfortable, secure area in the home to hang out in. Preferably away from external doors they may could run through if opened!
⭐️Offer them an enrichment activity such as a stuffed Kong, frozen dog treats, or a favorite chew.
⭐️Keeping a radio or TV turned up will help to drown out some of the noise.
⭐️If your dog is nervous, consider taking them out on a leash for potty breaks.
⭐️Make sure your contact information is visible and up-to-date on your dog’s collar. If possible, write it on the collar itself. Tags sometimes fall off!
⭐️If your dog is particularly nervous, consider purchasing a calming aid from your local pet store ahead of time.

Check out little Ash Kanin on just his 4th day of training! 🐾

This little guy is incredibly smart, but he came in with a serious case of “no thank you” syndrome. 😂 If there was a way to get out of responding to a command, he was going to try it! He also had a hard time staying focused and engaged.

Just 4 days into his 1 week Board & Train program, and look at him now! He’s locked in, responding beautifully, working through door manners, and confidently following off leash commands in the yard.

Watching these dogs figure it out and seeing that light bulb come on never gets old. Seeing the relationship between dog and owner transform is exactly why I love what I do. ❤️🐶

First boarding stay ✔️

Ranger is a 4-month-old dachshund puppy staying away from home for the very first time. New environments can be a big deal for young puppies, so we’re taking things at his pace and making sure every experience is positive and confidence-building.

Judging by his photo, he’s not quite ready for his close-up yet. 😆📸

We love helping puppies learn that being away from home can be safe, fun, and full of new adventures. 🐾

Little Izzy is a case that will stick with me forever. 🥹

When Izzy first came to me, she was terrified of the world around her. She was the sweetest little girl, but she didn’t know how to just be a dog. Everything overwhelmed her: new people, new environments, everyday life. Instead of reacting outwardly, she would simply shut down.

Her owner reached out wanting to help her work through those fears and build confidence. The challenge? Izzy wasn’t food motivated, toy motivated, or even praise motivated in the beginning. So we slowed down, built trust first, and worked at her pace.

Through patience, structure, obedience work, and confidence building, we slowly watched her start to come out of her shell. She learned how to communicate, how to feel safe, and eventually… how to enjoy life.

Today, Izzy has human friends she absolutely adores, better social skills, and a confidence level her owner once thought might never be possible. In fact, I recently got a call from her mom worried something might be wrong because Izzy was suddenly doing SO well. 😂 Honestly, that may have been my favorite phone call I’ve ever received.

These are the dogs that truly test your skill as a trainer. Not the flashy obedience dogs, but the quiet, fearful ones who need someone willing to meet them where they are. And these are the cases that make this job so incredibly rewarding. ❤️

Rosie just finished her 1-week Board & Train and I’m so proud of her 💕

She came in confident, friendly, and full of personality, but a little chaotic and unsure of what was actually being asked of her.

Once we added structure and clarity, everything started to click.

Same happy girl… just with direction now 🐾

It was an absolute pleasure working with sweet Joey! This 6-month-old German Shepherd girl has gained a solid foundation from her 9-day board and train, and her pawrents are thrilled 🥹 Seeing her mom beam with pride when Joey followed commands was a wonderful reminder of why I do what I do. I'm thankful for every client who has entrusted me with their furry friends - and know that each one has left a paw print on my heart 💜
