Listen up! I need your voices! We want this club to be for EVERYONE! So I desperately need feed back. If I have no feed back we can’t make this the best club ever.
I have questions.
What do you want to see at a show?
What should you get with a membership?
Do you want to be paired with a mentor?
Do you want a class held just for juniors?
What do you want to see on the website?
Do you want to be an active member or just apart of something?
Do you have a small business? Why not be a vender?
Location is a BIG deal. For our members, participants and judges. Our last show at the Kootenai fairgrounds was awesome but there’s no temperature control. Saturday we were freezing Sunday we were sweaty. I need input on location and lodging.
We can have the show anywhere in the PNW but we need it convenient. Near an airport ideally.
We REALLY want our children involved. This is a big deal to us. If we don’t teach the next generation our beloved breeds will die out. I can’t think of a life without one of my beloved well bred Persians. And many others feel the same about their chosen breeds.
We will help you in any capacity we can. Don’t hesitate, ask away.

Happy National Cat Lady Day! 🐾

Today, April 19, we celebrate the bond between women and their feline friends. For a long time, the "cat lady" label was used to poke fun at people, but today is all about flipping the script and wearing that title with pride.

🐱 How It All Began

National Cat Lady Day was founded in 2017 by Susan Michals, the creator of CatCon. After seeing the success of the convention, Michals wanted to create a dedicated day to officially dismantle the "crazy cat lady" stereotype. Her goal was to show that cat lovers are vibrant, independent, and compassionate people—not the eccentric caricatures often seen in pop culture.

While gearing up to make our cat club official I’d like some feed back from all of you.
Please leave comments and your opinions.
1) when we ask people to join and be official members. What should that membership include? Many cat clubs allow you to join but get nothing in return. We want to be different.
2) Do you want to be in the club for educational purposes or do you want to learn how to show your cat?
3) Do you want your child to learn?
4) Do you need a mentor?
5) grooming tips?
6) Health tips?
7) Do you want to be an active participant or sit on the sidelines?

We have so many questions. We want to be a club that all cat people want to be apart of.
