Did you know that we offer Pegasus Laser Therapy as part of our services at the clinic? This advanced, non-invasive treatment helps your animals heal faster and feel better—without added stress.

🔬 How it works:
The laser delivers specific wavelengths of light that safely pe*****te the tissue, stimulating cells to produce more energy. This boosts the body’s natural healing process, reduces inflammation, improves circulation, and helps relieve pain.

Our Pegasus Laser therapy can:
✔️ Reduce pain and inflammation
✔️ Speed up healing after injury or surgery
✔️ Improve circulation
✔️ Support mobility and overall comfort

Whether you have a performance horse needing recovery support or a pet dealing with aches and pains, this is a safe, effective option we’re proud to provide.

Curious if laser therapy is right for your animal? Contact us to learn more or schedule a session!

It’s that time of year! Foals are expected and we are all anxiously waiting with excitement!

As your mare gets ready to foal, make sure you are prepared. Keep this 1-2-3 rule in mind as soon as they hit the ground.

1 - The foal should be born within 1 hour of the mare’s water breaking. If they labor any longer, call your vet.

2 - The foal should be standing within 2 hours of delivery.

3 - The foal should be nursing and the placenta should have dropped from the mare within 3 hours.

Bonus! Once the placenta has dropped, take a minute to spread it out and inspect it. You are looking for any sign of tear. You want to insure that it was completely expelled. If you are unsure, put it in a plastic bag and seal it. Keep it in a cool place for your vet to inspect.

If these things have not taken place in a timely matter, call your vet! Being proactive and prompt will help keep everyone safe and healthy.

CVH is always here for you so don’t hesitate to call with any questions or concerns. 307-587-3151

Happy National Siamese Cat Day!

Today we’re celebrating one of the most iconic (and talkative!) feline breeds — the beautiful Siamese cat.

Known for their striking blue eyes, sleek coats, and unmistakable personalities, Siamese cats are full of charm and character. They’re:
- Extremely vocal (they will hold a conversation with you!)
- Affectionate and people-oriented
- Intelligent and curious
- Always wanting to be part of the action

These cats don’t just live in your home — they become part of your daily life, often following you from room to room and making sure you’re never alone.

If you have a Siamese at home, you already know… they aren’t just pets, they’re family with opinions.

Share a photo of your Siamese (or your honorary “talkative cat”) in the comments — we’d love to see them!

🧺 Be mindful of Easter basket grass and small toys

We hope your day is filled with joy, sunshine, and plenty of tail wags!

Thank you for trusting us with your pets’ care—we love being part of your family.

Wyoming Producers — Let’s Talk Bangs Vaccination

Did you know that brucellosis (Bangs) vaccination isn’t just recommended in Wyoming — in many cases, it’s a legal requirement?

Wyoming has strict regulations in place to protect our cattle industry and maintain the state’s brucellosis status. For example:

✔️ Sexually intact female cattle over 12 months of age must be officially vaccinated before a change of ownership (with some specific exceptions)
✔️ Cattle entering Wyoming must show proof of vaccination or a negative brucellosis test

These rules are in place to help:
- Protect herd health
- Reduce the spread of brucellosis
- Preserve Wyoming’s livestock industry

Spring is a great time to review your herd health program and make sure you’re in compliance and protected going into the busy season.

If you have questions about Bangs vaccination, need calves vaccinated, or want help navigating requirements, we’re here to help.
