Dog-care experience is a plus! Applicants will complete a short dog-care questionnaire before interviews so we can learn a little more about their knowledge of dog behavior and safety.

🚨🧺We need community laundry heroes! 🧺🚨

Did you know we do around 250 pounds of laundry a day?! YEP, that is a LOT of laundry!

Our washer and dryer units are on the fritz again. We have a technician coming out, but in the meantime... the shelter's laundry mountain continues to grow. Between dog beds, blankets, towels, toys, and everything else our animals go through every day, we're having a hard time keeping up.

If you have a little extra time and don't mind taking home a bag (or two!) of laundry to wash and return, we'd be so grateful. Laundry can be picked up today between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. (We will update the post when all laundry is picked up). Every load you do means cleaner bedding, comfier animals, and one less thing for our staff to worry about.

If you're able to lend a hand, send us a message, give us a call 321-567-3615 or stop by the shelter. We'd love the help... and so would our overworked washer and dryer. ❤️🐾

We know this is not VetMed related but it is local so we wanted to spotlight a small business! If you have never heard of Journey to Jacob's Ladder please give them a follow. Jacob is an adult on the autism spectrum who runs his own local business. How cool is that? And his products are wonderful!!
