⭐️Great news from the Furrever Goldens family! 🐾💛

We are excited to share that Miss Lexi and Miss Momo have both received clear results on their Genetic DNA testing!

At Furrever Goldens, health testing is one of the most important parts of our breeding program. Golden Retrievers are an amazing breed, but they can be predisposed to certain inherited health conditions. That's why we go beyond basic DNA testing and are committed to completing all recommended health clearances for our breeding dogs.

In addition to genetic testing, our dogs undergo OFA evaluations for hips, elbows, heart, and eyes once they reach 2 years of age. When all recommended testing is completed and submitted, our dogs earn a CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) number through the AKC and OFA, demonstrating our commitment to transparency and responsible breeding practices.

Health testing helps us make informed breeding decisions, reduce the risk of passing on hereditary diseases, and work toward producing healthy, well-rounded Golden Retrievers for generations to come.

We are incredibly proud of Lexi and Momo and look forward to completing their OFA certifications when they turn 2 years old! 🐶🐾
