Some dogs leave paw prints on your heart without ever belonging to you, and Fury was certainly one of those dogs. ❤️

Fury wasn’t just our neighbor. She was the unofficial guardian of Goodspice, always keeping a watchful eye on everything happening around her. She took her job seriously, making sure I knew whenever a client pulled into the driveway. Nothing got past Fury, and she was always ready to sound the alarm!

But beyond her watchful nature was a dog who loved her family dearly, including her special little rabbit friend. She had her own routines, her own personality, and a way of making herself part of the lives of everyone around her.

One of the things I will miss most is pulling out of my driveway and seeing Fury take off running, racing me all the way to the end of her yard. It was our little tradition, one I probably took for granted because I never imagined there would come a day when she wouldn’t be there.

It’s funny how a dog who wasn’t even yours can become such a familiar and cherished part of your everyday life. The neighborhood will feel a little quieter now, and Goodspice has lost one of its most faithful watchdogs.

My heart goes out to Fury’s family, who gave her a life filled with love and a place where she knew she belonged.

Rest easy, sweet Fury. Your watch is over now. You did your job well, sweet girl, and I promise I’ll never pull out of that driveway without remembering you racing alongside me. Until we meet again. ❤️🐾

✨ A Whisper That Speaks Volumes! ✨

Small in stature, mighty in spirit, and overflowing with that unmistakable French charm!

Whisper earned a beautiful Hound Group 4 at the Catonsville Kennel Club under judge John Wade!

With the rustic charm, lively expression, and bold character that make the Basset Fauve de Bretagne so special, Whisper proves that a little hound can leave a mighty big impression!

❤️🏆 Très bien, Whisper!

Happy Birthday to a woman who has never needed to be the loudest person in the room to leave the biggest impression. ❤️

Marge, in so many ways, you remind me of the very breed you have dedicated your life to. The Sealyham Terrier. Strong, determined, courageous, dignified, and full of character. A breed that doesn’t need to demand attention because its presence alone speaks volumes.

You have always carried yourself with a quiet strength and a humility that is becoming harder to find in this world. Your accomplishments could fill books, yet you have never been one to boast about them. You simply let your work, your dogs, and the legacy you have built speak for themselves.

Much like the Sealyham, there is a remarkable amount of strength behind that unassuming exterior. A little stubbornness, a tremendous amount of heart, and a spirit that refuses to be anything other than true to itself.

The Sealyham Terrier is a rare breed, but I happen to think the woman who has devoted her life to preserving it is even rarer.

Happy Birthday, Marge. May you always know how deeply you are loved, respected, and admired. ❤️

And if you happen to see Marge at the dog show today, please take a moment to wish this remarkable woman a very Happy Birthday! ❤️

GCHB CH Goodspice Efbe Neverending Story “Falkor” ✨

What a week for this young dog.

BOB at Hatboro I under judge Mark Walshaw
BOS at Hatboro II under judge Sean Delmar
BOS at Devon under judge Maripi Wooldridge
Select Dog & Best Bred-By Exhibitor at Montgomery County Kennel Club under judge Ken Kaufman

Powerful, substantial, balanced and built to do the job. Falkor embodies so much of what we believe a Sealyham Terrier should be. Strong without being coarse, compact without losing athleticism, with the substance, determination and unmistakable terrier character that define the breed.

Four shows. Four beautiful recognitions from four respected judges. We couldn’t be prouder of Falkor and the way he represented Goodspice during the biggest week of the year. ❤️

A little dog with a whole lot of Sealyham behind him.

Happy Montgomery County Week to all those participating! Safe travels and best of luck! 🍀

We can’t wait to see you all there!

Throwing it back to 2023 when Stache was Best in Show under the legendary Bergit Coady-Kabel 🩷

When Falkor isn’t showing, he’s apparently taken on a second career as head chef. 👨‍🍳 His management style mostly consists of laying in the middle of the kitchen, being in my way and contributing absolutely nothing.🤣

Finished the weekend with a Group 3 for Falkor!
