Better late than never…

We had a great day at Ryan Wood and Woodstock Eventing’s schooling jumper show last weekend!

⭐️Donna and Reign in Paris had 2 great confidence boosting rounds in the cross rails and .70’s.
⭐️Ava and Dressed in Dreams had a great round in both the cross rails and the .70’s.
⭐️Ava and Keltic Junebug had their best rounds yet in the .70’s and .80’s.
⭐️Ava took JD Superstar to his first show with us, and he continued to prove his perfection.
⭐️Megan took her last weekend home before college to pilot Fashionista MFH around the 1.0m jumpers.

🖤 Viva- 15.3 Westfalen mare suitable for intermediate riders and above. Absolutely lovely horse. She is very safe and good, but is a more sensitive type of ride. She takes up some leg, but does not require you to kick her around the ring and has more of her own motor. Incredibly fun jumper but can cross into the hunters, though the jumpers are truly her preference. Currently competing in the 3’3 with tri colors every time out. This girl is up for anything and has a very fun time doing it.

🦁 Leo- 14.1 welsh gelding. Intermediate/advanced riders. Young and green, but VERY willing, safe, and easy. Flats around and confidently jumps small courses. He is not quite ready for a small child, but the perfect option for a teen or small adult looking for an affordable option (only due to him being green with minimal show miles!).

⭐️ JD- 15.3 TB gelding. Advanced beginners and up. SO quiet, SO reliable, and everyone that rides him loves him SO much! He is very educated, soft in the bridle, and jumps around 2’6 and up. He has evented through novice but recently made the switch to the hunters/jumpers and is loving it. Could also do dressage. Really cool horse.

🐴 Lance- 16.2 Hanoverian gelding. Absolutely lovely horse for intermediate and up riders. Used to compete consistently in the 3’ but at some point before coming to us he lost a lot of his confidence. He is very quiet on the flat and has more of a motor over fences. He is slightly quirky, but we have really taken our time with him and he has gotten much much more confident. The more he gets to know you, the better he goes for you. 98% of the time he is perfect. The 2% he comes out looky, but has never offered a scary spook while with us.

🦄 Fino- 17 hand Westphalian gelding. If you are looking for a confidence building, reliable, steady eddy kind of guy, Fino is for you. Intermediate riders and above (he’s seriously so easy and safe but just has a big bouncy trot!), and he is limited to jumping cross rails. Fino has extensive experience in the upper level jumpers and equitation, and knows his job well. Point and shoot, auto lead change, uphill and light in the bridle. There are not enough good things to say about this horse, and anyone who gets to ride him is very lucky!

Wishing both Donna Gratzinger and Jenny Brown a huge congratulations on the purchase of Riblett Lane, a very special yearling filly by Ribaldi.

Keep an eye out for this girl… she will be one to watch in the hunter breeding ring next year!

Thank you so much to Ryan Wood and Woodstock Eventing for hosting a really great schooling show!

⭐️Leo attended his first horse show, and at just 4 years old, after not schooling the jumps or walking around the ring, he marched around the course like a total pro. He even moved up to the .70’s and jumped the entire course confidently (it was his first time jumping that big, whoops) Special thanks to his trusty pilot, Ava Najdanovic!

⭐️Junebug and Ava had great, confidence building rounds in the .70’s and .80’s.

⭐️Viva and Megan Williams had a clear, fast round in the 1m and won the class.
