💗 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. 💗

As October approaches, we want to take a moment to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month and honor everyone who has faced this disease with incredible strength and courage.

We’d also like to give a very special shoutout to one of our own—our building owner, Michelle. Last year, Michelle faced her battle with breast cancer with incredible strength and resilience. She is one of the strongest people you’ll ever meet, and we are honored to recognize her this Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

To honor Michelle, our clients who have bravely battled breast cancer, those currently fighting, survivors, and everyone whose lives have been touched by this disease, Groomer’s Corner will be hosting a Raffle Basket fundraiser throughout October. 🎀

100% of the proceeds will be donated to a breast cancer charity.

🎟 Raffle Tickets
• $1 each
• 6 for $5

Tickets go on sale September 29th! Stop by Groomer’s Corner to purchase yours, or if you can’t make it in, send us a message. We accept cash or Venmo, and we’ll happily fill out your raffle tickets for you. The raffle winner will be drawn on November 2nd, and you do not need to be present to win.

We’ll also be doing other Breast Cancer Awareness activities throughout October, so be sure to stay tuned for more details! 💕

Thank you for helping us honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and support an important cause. Every ticket purchased helps make a difference. 🎀💗

We’re putting out a little request! 😊

If you have any old towels lying around that you no longer use, we’d love to have them here at Groomer’s Corner.

We use a lot of towels every day during baths and grooms, so even the ones that are a little worn still have plenty of life left with us. We just ask that they’re clean.

If you’d like to donate, feel free to bring them with you to your next appointment or stop by during business hours.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our small business. We appreciate every donation and every one of you! 🩵🐾

🚨 🤫 Want to know a secret?

Almost anyone can buy a pair of clippers and call themselves a dog groomer.

There are no required licenses or standardized education in the pet grooming industry. While there are many incredibly talented groomers out there, continuing education is a choice—not a requirement.

At Groomers Corner, we believe your pets deserve more than the minimum.

That’s why we’re making continuing education a priority for our entire team. We want every groomer in our salon to keep learning, growing, and refining their skills throughout their career. Whether it’s safer handling techniques, understanding dog behavior, breed-specific styling, skin and coat health, or the latest grooming practices, there’s always something new to learn.

I was proud to attend Groom Expo 2026 this week and bring that knowledge back to our salon, but this is just the beginning. Our goal is to create a culture where education never stops and every member of our team is committed to becoming the best groomer they can be.

When you trust us with your pet, you’re trusting a team that believes learning is part of the job. We aren’t interested in doing things “the way they’ve always been done.” We want to stay current, improve every day, and continue raising the standard of care for the pets and families who choose Groomers Corner.

❤️ Thank you for trusting us with your best friends. We can’t wait to keep learning, growing, and providing the care your pets deserve.
