☀️ Triple-Digit Temperatures Are Here! ☀️

With temperatures expected to stay in the 100s for the next several weeks, it's more important than ever to help keep our furry family members safe from the heat.

🐾 Hot Weather Safety Tips for Your Pets:
💧 Always provide fresh, cool water.
🏠 Keep pets indoors during the hottest part of the day (10 AM–6 PM).
🌳 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening when it's cooler.
🐾 Check the pavement! If it's too hot for your hand for 7 seconds, it's too hot for your pet's paws.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked car—even for a minute.
❄️ Make sure your pet has access to shade and air conditioning whenever possible.
🐶 Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, bright red gums, or collapse. If you notice any of these signs, seek veterinary care immediately.

❤️ A little extra care goes a long way during these hot summer days. Let's work together to keep our pets happy, healthy, and safe!

If you have any questions or are concerned about your pet during the heat, give Armstrong Pet Hospital a call. We're here to help! 🐾☀️

Our hearts are with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office as they mourn the loss of K9 Santi.

Santi was more than a working dog—he was a loyal partner, a dedicated protector, and a truly amazing, friendly, and sweet soul. He touched the lives of so many, from the Sheriff’s Office staff and deputies, our staff who recently worked with him to everyone who had the privilege of meeting. Most of all, our hearts are with his handler, who has lost not only a partner, but a cherished friend.

Thank you, Santi, for your service, your unwavering loyalty, and the joy you brought to those around you. You will be deeply missed by many, but your legacy will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, sweet boy. 💙🐾
