‼️Training stall available beginning of October!

I will have one training stall open beginning October 1. I’m open for yearling/2yr olds that need some ground work, horses that are ready to be started or something that needs a tune up. I specialize in the stock breed all around classes including but not limited to Showmanship, Western and English Pleasure and Trail. If you are not looking to hit the show pen that’s okay too! I can help with learning basic manners and maneuvers, find any holes in your horses foundation or just touching up on its foundation.

30 days is $7🥕🥕 and what it includes is:

Two lessons; if want more, they will be at a discounted rate
Full stall board; includes cleaning the stall, bedding, turning in and out (dependent on how it gets along with any of the herds) and hay (*you must provide their grain)
Weekly photos/videos
Working the horse no less than 4 days a week and no more than 6. While having my own personal schedule, and listening to your horse, they may get/need a day or two off especially when it first arrives to let them adjust and if they are young.
Indoor arena! Weather is not an issue!

Barn is located just south of Crawfordsville, Indiana

NOHSA Results!! 💥

What a weekend!! Words cannot express how proud I am of Evelyn and Belle and how well they showed and how Evelyn handled winning her first belt buckle then turning around and having some missteps in her patterns. She did so gracefully and came out not upset but how she could have done better. My heart is so full!

10th o/o 28 (Would have been 2nd if the mare didn’t move her pivot foot which she RARELY does 🤦🏻‍♀️)

Her horsemanship pattern was where Belle took a lope stride right in the middle but Evelyn corrected quickly and continued to show!

This was their first BIG show and they’ve only been showing Belle since the beginning of the year.

There’s too many people to thank to help get us to this point. You know who are! 💕

I want to wish Evelyn McClamroch good luck at the Indiana State Fair tomorrow! I so wish I could be there but alas, I can’t have every day I want off from the adult job. 😮‍💨 She is a truly dedicated rider, always outside practicing and taking care of her horse (with video proof from mom 😉)! Have fun tomorrow Evelyn! And don’t forget: Out. Cross. Step. TOGETHER. 😜

BZD Performance Horses had a great first show at the Hendricks County Horseman’s Club this past weekend! Little Evelyn showed for the first time with her new horse Belle aka “On A Southern Breeze” placing in every class they entered!

Help me congratulate her on a fantastic first show!

Also entering the pen was Lena Blake with her horse Mike aka “Versions 88”. While they had a great ride in the pen, it was in the wrong age group. (We’ve all been there! 😉) We let him rest after that as we think during warm up he stepped on a rock and was a little sore. He is currently in training with me and yesterday he rode beautifully and sound!

Watch for more of them in the future! 💕

Also with Evelyn’s blessing, she allowed me to show Belle in a couple classes and we placed in every class as well!

Misty, a training horse that’s been here two weeks this Saturday, had such a good day, we only worked for 15 minutes. Could I have pushed for more? Yes. But sometimes taking those good shorter rides, is better than constantly over-working/over-stimulating the horse AND yourself.

Reminder: take the short “wins” over pushing for more every once in a while. 😉

ISO 🖤 Two Black Tails 🖤

Tail #1- 1.5-2 lbs of hair with weights or the ability to add them. Prefer double looped but single is okay.

Tail #2- At least 2lbs of hair. Preferred if has ability to add weights but okay if not. Also preferred double looped.

Clients are willing to buy new but seeing what’s out there for gently used!
