We were first introduced to the Australian Shepherd Breed in 1966 when we received an Aussie for a wedding present. He was a tremendous companion not only for us, but for our children. He worked our cattle, babysat our children & went everywhere with us. We have had Aussies ever since and now we are part of the new AKC Foundation Miniature American Shepherds aka Mini Aussies. We are proud to have helped to develop a quality Mini and helped to bring the registration of the new breed to AKC.

He sure makes the Mockingbird program amazing! He has sired his first litter and they are just as beautiful as he is. We are so lucky he is ours and will bring us all amazing pups for years to come!

Meet Murphy!!

He has such a fun and loving personality! All he wants to do is snuggle and let you know that he is all yours!! He is about 8lbs right now and will hit a max of 22/25lb full grown. Perfection!!

He is waiting for his forever family to find him! Is that you??

In the mean time, he will be safe and happy with his sisters, Millie and Marley, playing and living the good life at Mockingbird Hill Kennel!

Taking this sweet girl to Columbia to meet a trainer. She will spend the next two months with her trainer before going to live with her new parents. This is the third puppy I have taken to a trainer before they go to their loving parents this month. I have always said a well trained dog is easier to love. When they are obedient and loving daily life is easier. Iā€™m so thankful my new parents recognize this. Some people choose to train themselves and some choose to pay others to train. Life is about options.
