We have Shelby here at the store all day to meet you! (Saturday the 15th) This special girl is visually impaired but that doesn't hold her back. She is super active and friendly and needs someone willing to spend time training her. She is getting used to walking on the leash and would benefit from daily exercise. She has been very responsive to the training we have done with her so far and she is ready to find her new forever home! Come on in and meet her!

This is Shelby! She is a nine month old, spayed labradoodle and she is looking for a new home. She is partially visually impaired so she is a special needs case. She enjoys the company of other dogs, is not a fan of cats and needs a fenced yard so she doesn't wander. She is very active and rambunctious so a home with older children would be best as she gets more training under her belt. She is also up to date on her shots. We want to do a quarter year check in with all of you since becoming a non-profit. Our expenses thus far for the animals totaled $2,678! This includes spay and neuter surgeries, food and water, lighting, heat and so much more. So far this year we have rescued 91 animals! Please consider attending our Paint and Sip fundraiser or donating in person or via our venmo . We now can do monthly reoccurring donations if interested. We couldn't do this without your support! Also, take a look at some of our recent adoptions and a new arrival, a super sweet male hamster named Cream Puff!

What's better than a before and after collage? What's better than seeing Bear Dog transform from this to that?! Bear Dog came to us in the beginning of January with severe skin issues. Debbie took him in as a foster and with a lot of TLC, vet visits, and medicated baths he has made quite the recovery! Through it all Bear Dog's spirit never wavered and he is by far one of the sweetest souls that we have had the blessing to get to know and care for. Our days can be long and our days can be frustrating... but one look in Bear Dog's eyes and we are reminded of why we do what we do every single day.

Calling all fish lovers! We have a bunch of new fish, shrimp, snails and plants just waiting to be added to your aquarium. Also, lots of new bettas and accessories!

Did you know we have our very own Dirty Dog Wash gift certificates? They are the perfect gift for the dog lover in your life. And if you haven't tried our self serve dog wash yet you are really missing out. It's super fast, convenient and easy to use!

We are still looking for foster families willing to open their home temporarily to animals in need. Especially adult dogs at this time. We have seen a dramatic increase of adult dogs needing new homes but for the time being we have no place to house them. If you are open to welcoming a new dog into your home come by the store to fill out a foster contract. Not only is fostering a very rewarding experience for you but it can change an animals life for the better in the long run.

Being in rescue we experience a lot of good but with that comes some sadness. Monday we lost one of your favorite long term residents, Fifi the bearded dragon. She was an adult when she was surrendered to us and was with us for her last 7 years until she passed from old age. We are heartbroken but Fifi knew she was well loved and that's what matters at the end of the day. The store won't be the same without her. We love you Fifi!
