Whew, behind my behind! 🤪 Puppy pick-up days, training days, and just everyday life have had me chasing my tail, as we say here in the South!

But this sweet family sure is enjoying chasing around their newest member, Bo! 🤎🐾

Bo was one of my favorites from Cedar’s litter, mainly because he was the little runt and needed some extra love when he was born. And y’all know I was more than happy to give it to him! Palmer loved this sweet boy too, so he definitely had his fair share of snuggles around here. ❤️

The best part is he won’t be too far away! Bo is calling Tallahassee home, so hopefully we’ll get to see this special little guy from time to time. Nothing better than watching our DRDCo pups grow up and seeing just how loved they are by their families!

What better way to celebrate National Dog Day than seeing one of our started/finished dogs find his perfect match! 🐾❤️

Hondo came to us a few years ago with plans of being part of our breeding program while also doing what he loves in the field. As with every dog in our program, Hondo went through the proper health testing to make sure he met the standards we stand behind. Unfortunately, he had a testicular defect that never corrected itself, so we made the responsible decision to have him neutered at the appropriate age.

And let me tell y’all—this boy is something special. He is amazing in the field, has the absolute sweetest temperament, and is just as happy soaking up attention as he is out hunting. We knew there was no reason to rush finding him a home. We simply waited until the right fit came along.

And it did. ❤️

Now Hondo gets the best of both worlds—a life full of house snuggles, hunting adventures, and a family to call his own. We are so grateful for clients who trust our judgment, our program, and the decisions we make with each individual dog’s best interest at heart.

It’s the number one principle we build our client relationships on here at DirtRoad Dog Company. Our families trust our years of knowledge and experience, the quality of the pups we raise, and maybe most importantly—the communication and relationship that continues long after their pup goes home.

This sweet little gal is a perfect example! Her new family made the drive all the way from Ohio to pick her up, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead. We’ll be following along as she grows, trains, and becomes the incredible home and hunting companion we know she can be.

For us, it doesn’t end on puppy pickup day. Watching our pups grow, thrive, and become exactly what their families hoped for—that’s what it’s all about right there. 🤍

It all started Saturday for our Cedar × Levi pups—puppy pick-up days have officially begun! 🎉🐾

This sweet little blue roan girl finally met her family, and we just know she is going to be the perfect fit. She’ll be making BIG tracks all the way to Wyoming! 🤍

One of the things we are most grateful for is the trust our families place in us. Many of our clients fly all the way to Georgia for a puppy they’ve never laid eyes on in person. Through lots of phone conversations, getting to know what they’re looking for, and our careful puppy-picking process, we work hard to make sure the right pup goes with the right family.

Do we get it perfect every single time? Probably not—but I’d say 99% of the time, we sure do! And this one? There’s not a doubt in my mind. This match was made in Heaven. 🤍🐾

This little man makes DRDCo pup #2 for the Boulware family, and we are so excited for them! 🤍🐾

He may or may not be selling cars one day 🤪😂, but one thing’s for sure—he’ll be spending plenty of time hunting the woods around here!

There’s just something extra special about seeing a family come back for their second DRDCo pup. We can’t wait to watch this handsome boy grow, thrive, and make plenty of memories with his family! 🤎

Holy moly… it’s WATER!!! 💦🐾🤎

First time ever going for a water retrieve today with these Small Munsterlander pups, and we are jumping for joy over how much they loved it! 🙌🏼 Water isn’t always their favorite thing right off the bat, so watching all three take to it so quickly was SO rewarding.

Little Miss MiMi may still need a few paddle lessons 😂, but that sure didn’t stop her! They kept going back in over and over again.

Beau, MiMi & Gus have done absolutely amazing, and we couldn’t be more proud of these pups and the progress they’re making. This is the fun stuff—watching those natural instincts start to come alive! 🤎🐾
