🤰 Pregnant and in pain? Here's what you can expect during a pelvic floor physical therapy session.
Pregnancy can bring aches and pains that make everyday activities uncomfortable—but you don't have to just "deal with it."
During your session, we'll:
✅ Discuss your symptoms, goals, and daily activities
✅ Assess posture, movement patterns, and body mechanics
✅ Evaluate strength, mobility, and core function
✅ Address areas contributing to pain, including the hips, pelvis, low back, and rib cage
✅ Use hands-on techniques when appropriate to improve mobility and decrease discomfort
✅ Teach exercises tailored to your stage of pregnancy
✅ Provide strategies for sleeping, lifting, exercising, and caring for your body throughout pregnancy
Every treatment plan is individualized because every pregnancy is different.
Our goal is to help you move better, feel stronger, decrease pain, and stay active throughout your pregnancy so you can prepare for labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
