Patience is the hardest thing for people to practice. Our dogs know that we have very little patience and if they just hold out, we will give up. The right amount of pressure is what is slightly beyond their threshold, meaning a little bit more than what they find tolerable. Steady pressure and patience wins the day.

Yes. Tools are only as good as your skills. They amplify your own energy and clarity. If your training and communication sucks, tools will make it worse. If your training is good, tools can make it even better.
