You’d never guess these little yellow chicks came from bright blue eggs. 🪺✨

These are Celadon Coturnix True Blue quail, known for producing those beautiful blue eggs.

Meet the Rhea! 🪶 As one of the largest birds in the world, having them on the farm feels like raising actual Velociraptors.

They’re remarkably tough; we built them a shelter on the farm, but between hot Georgia summers and freezing winter nights, they’d still rather stay out in the elements! 😅

Most people have never seen this bird before. 👀

Rheas are giant, flightless birds related to emus and ostriches, but they have a look and personality all their own.

Grey and white Rhea chicks up for discussion 🐣

We had a great hatch this season and currently have several greys and one white. The white is the only one we hatched this year, and all chicks will be sexed. 🤍

If you like emus, you’ll probably like rheas too. They grow to a similar size but look more like miniature ostriches.
