🧡 Something we’ve been quietly working on is finally ready…

This July, Soul Healing Canine will officially launch our very first Community Pet Pantry!

This project was created with one simple belief:
Bad times shouldn’t have to mean empty bowls.

Just like a community blessing box, this pantry is here to provide supplemental pet food and supplies for families who may be facing a difficult season. While we can’t promise it’ll always be full, we can promise we’ll do everything we can to keep it stocked with the help of this incredible community.

A huge thank you goes to Safe Haven Animal Rescue Program (SHARP) for believing in this vision and sponsoring our first two pantry boxes, and to Steelwheel corner for becoming the very first host location. Community projects like this only happen because people choose to come together.

Our hope is simple: to help keep pets with the families who love them while reminding people that it’s okay to need a helping hand sometimes.

Today is our final day in business. There’s a lot of speculation and rumors and questions surrounding the closure. We maintained all 5 star reviews throughout our 2 years of operations, people loved us, we stayed busy- so I get it, none of it makes sense. I’m going thru a lot of changes and losses in my personal life at this time which unfortunately made it non feasible for me to continue to maintain a demanding operation such as this. The kennel was ALOT of work, 24/7 demand and just not something one person can manage alone without any support. It hurts watching the last dogs go home today and knowing there will not be anymore walking back thru the gate to stay, but I am choosing to redirect to the positive.
Over the past two years, we left an impact on humane, ethical, low stress boarding and that is something that will last forever. I am grateful for every human and dog who i had the pleasure of meeting. To the people who have reached out over the past few weeks, your kind words and encouragement have really helped get me through. Im thankful for my staff and others who helped keep this running as well.
Also- a few people have asked if i will still be local to pet sit for them and unfortunately the answer is no. I will not be staying in the area.
I am disconnecting the Liberty Acres phone tomorrow but I will keep the page up because it is a chapter of my life I dont want to lose. Thank you guys again for everything 🩷

Enjoying our last weekend together. Some of the dogs here have been with me from the beginning- the whole two years. Monday we close our doors sadly. I am trying to focus on the good times and how thankful I am for everything this has brought over the past 2 years.

Hey everyone, i know I got quiet on the page after I announced we will be going out of business on June 8th. I apologize for this, as you can imagine theres a lot going on right now.
