✨Research✨
Dutch Shepherds are naturally a high drive dog.
In one litter you could have dogs that HAVE to go to strict working homes, but also have a lower drive that will be okay with daily runs.
Yes they may cuddle up on the couch with you.
Yes they can be very affectionate.
Yes they will not so shyly remind you it’s time to go run a marathon and play for 2 hours.
Yes you gain scary dog privilege, and immediately become less approachable with one.
BUT.
They also forget how strong they are and can leave scratches and bites. (Mouth Hugs)
They’re known for displacement behaviors when having big feelings.
They require regular training sessions, that include learning new things.
Daily mental stimulation.
They’re going to test you limits and make you question your sanity at least once a week, if not more.
Do your research. Speak with your breeder. Trust them when placing a dog in your home, as they’re looking past gender and color.
My goal is to make the perfect match ❤️
