Bay Branch Farm

Super proud of the farm team. They created 400 wearable mini bouquets for the fundraiser last night. They are so cute and beautiful and fun!

The fundraiser was wonderful, food was delicious and seeing everyone in attendance support the critical work of welcoming newcomers to our beautiful city was very inspiring! We are best when we work together in community.

Wow it has really become a jungle in the back of the farm. We are growing honey nut squash which are like a mini butternut. They're so cute! We're at the stage where some are starting to turn while there are still flowers popping up on the spreading vines. We also have a bunch of flowers back here and field tomatoes, which are a research project in collaboration with Ohio State University. I can't believe how much foliage they have put on and how much fruit they have! This whole area of the farm was previously just grass and weeds. It's exciting to see it be so productive and lush!

We recently received this footage from a project we did with Cornell University extension to produce training on urban farming for the Farm Service Agency. I love how the drone footage shows how hidden and abundant this little farm is. Grateful for the opportunity to do this work every day!
