Is your dog looking for a new BFF? Someone to chase around the yard, share toys with, and have those deep, meaningful conversations about squirrels? 😂 Well, Tia is ready to apply for the position!

Tia is an adorable girl who is getting ready to turn ONE, and she’s got one thing on her birthday wish list: a forever home with a doggy best friend!

Tia absolutely LOVES other dogs! In fact, she’d prefer a home with another pup (or two!) because, let’s face it, everything is more fun when you’ve got a buddy to share it with!

She’s happy, she’s sweet, and just look at that ridiculous smile! How could anyone resist that face?

So, if your dog has been asking for a sibling, here’s your chance to make their day!

🇺🇸 A Friendly Reminder! 🐾

The SPCA of Bradley County will be CLOSED tomorrow, Monday, October 12th, in observance of Columbus Day.

We will reopen on Tuesday, October 13th, from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and look forward to welcoming everyone back!

And don’t worry, our furry residents will still be receiving plenty of love, care, and attention while we’re closed. ❤️🐶🐱

14 dogs. Far too much time waiting. And so much love still to give. 🐾

Every dog in this video has spent an extremely long time in our shelter. They’ve watched others leave with families while their own turn never seems to come. Zeus, our longest resident, has waited longer than anyone.

They deserve more than another day of waiting. They deserve a favorite spot on the couch, a person who knows their quirks, and a home where they belong.

Their adoption fees are WAIVED because we want to help these 14 dogs finally begin their next chapter. Each has different needs, and our staff can help you find the right match.

This beautiful 2-year, 2-month-old Hound mix has never met a stranger! Sylvia is one of those happy, friendly girls who absolutely LOVES everyone she meets. And just look at that smile!

Heading into town to run some errands? Sylvia would love to tag along! Going to a friend’s house for a football party? Make room for Sylvia! She’s the kind of girl who just wants to be included in whatever her people are doing.

She’s sweet, she’s outgoing, and she’s just an all-around GOOD girl! No complicated wish list here. Sylvia is simply looking for someone who wants a four-legged best friend to share life’s everyday adventures with.

We asked for dog collars, and WOW, did our amazing supporters come through! ❤️ Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! We are so grateful for everyone who helped us out!

Now we have one more little favor to ask. We’re running low on dog leashes that clip onto collars! With so many pups needing daily walks, outdoor playtime, and meet-and-greets with potential adopters, leashes are something we use constantly.

🎉HAPPY GOTCHA DAY, LATTE!

Sweet little Latte has officially found her forever family, and judging by those smiles, we’d say everyone is pretty happy about it!

This adorable kitten is off to a lifetime of cozy cuddles, endless love, plenty of kitten mischief, and hopefully a few extra treats along the way!

Well, we started the day showing off a whole bunch of adorable kittens (and a few beautiful cats!), so we figured it was only fair to give the puppy lovers something to get excited about, too!

And OH. MY. GOODNESS. Just look at these EIGHT ridiculously cute faces! 😍🐶

Meet Tolstoy, Chocolate, Joycean, Moose, Dolly, Goldie, Jagger, and Finch! Eight little bundles of puppy love, complete with wagging tails, puppy kisses, goofy personalities, and enough cuteness to make your heart melt!

We’ve got kittens, kittens, and MORE kittens! And a few wonderful grown-up kitties who would like to remind everyone that they’re pretty darn adorable, too! 🥰

Our feline friends are officially putting in their applications for the position of Your New Best Friend, and they’ve got some pretty impressive qualifications!

Need a little Hocus Pocus in your life? We’ve got a few tiny troublemakers who are ready to work their magic! Looking for something sweet? Peaches might be just what you’re craving! And if you’re feeling a little superstitious, don’t worry… our little black cats are here to prove that the only thing they bring is GOOD luck! 🖤

Some are playful little bundles of chaos, some are professional snugglers, and others are still figuring out whether humans are actually their personal servants. (Spoiler alert: We are. 😂)

But whether their names are spooky, silly, sweet, or just plain unusual, every single one of these beautiful cats and kittens is hoping for the same thing… a forever home. ❤️

💔 11 months old and still waiting for someone to choose her.

Meet Snowfall, an adorable 11-month-old Shepherd mix who has absolutely no idea why she hasn’t found her forever home yet.

She’s happy, playful, friendly, and full of life. She’s got that goofy puppy personality, a smile that rarely disappears, and so much love waiting for the right person.

But here’s the thing. Snowfall is growing up in a shelter, and that’s not where a puppy belongs.

At 11 months old, she should be learning what it’s like to be part of a family. Going on walks, playing in the backyard, discovering the joys of couch cuddles, and simply enjoying life outside of a kennel.

Instead, she’s waiting.

There’s nothing wrong with Snowfall. She just hasn’t met the person who will give her a chance.

Could that person be you? Come meet Snowfall. She deserves more than another day of waiting. ❤️🐾

🇺🇸 HOLIDAY CLOSURE! 🇺🇸

The SPCA of Bradley County will be closed Monday, October 12th, in observance of Columbus Day.

We will reopen Tuesday, October 13th, during our regular hours of 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM.

🐾 And who’s that handsome pup in our photo? Meet October!

October is an adorable Border Collie mix who is approximately 1 year old and weighs just 28 pounds! He’s a happy, super smart little guy with lots of personality. He can be a bit dog selective, and that’s okay! If you have a dog at home, please bring them along for a meet & greet to make sure everyone gets along. No appointments are necessary for meet & greets!

October is available for adoption and would love to meet you! 🐾❤️
