Our practice was opened in 2021 by Dr. Ryan Lane as an expansion of his father’s business. Southeastern Veterinary Services was created to serve large animals as well as a wide variety of animals.

Dr. Ryan’s dedicated leadership has brought our practice forward and opened up new opportunities for relationships with clients. We are so thankful for his attention to detail and gentle care for all animals.

Keep your best friend safe for a lifetime by microchipping them!

Collars and tags can fall off, but a microchip is a permanent way to help ensure your dog finds their way back home if they ever get lost. Microchips help shelters and animal hospitals quickly reunite lost dogs with their families.

Give your pup an added layer of protection and ensure your peace of mind. Call us today to set up an appointment to microchip your dog or add on the option to microchip your dog onto their next surgery!

🐈🩺July 15th is National Feline Leukemia Awareness Day!

Feline Leukemia is the leading disease-related cause of death in domestic cats.

Recognizing the symptoms early can prevent further damage to the cat. Symptoms like severe weight loss, diarrhea, vomiting, and poor appetite are signs of the disease.

It is also important to keep up to date with your cat’s vaccinations to ensure protection against FeLV.

If you believe that your cat is displaying these symptoms, give us a call today to set up a rapid blood test at our clinic.

🥺🐶Find a new pal on your porch step or running loose after this weekend? No worries, we can help you locate their owner!

July is National Lost Pet Prevention Month because fireworks can be a reason lots of pets run away.

Here at SVS, we offer a solution before taking the animal to the shelter. We have the ability to check a pet for a microchip that can tell us the owner of the animal.

It’s just that simple! No appointment needed! Just let us know that you have a lost animal and we can check for the microchip in as little as 5 minutes!

🧨🇺🇸🎇Enjoy the fireworks this weekend? We may love the booms and claps of color, but some of our furry friends do not enjoy it.

July is National Lost Pet Prevention Month because animal shelters nationwide have reported a spike in their numbers between July 4th and July 6th.

This is why it is important to make sure your animal is microchipped and wearing their identification tags on their collars at all times.

There are also better tactics of keeping your pets calm by placing them in a quiet room with the curtains drawn during the fireworks. You can also play some white noise to drown out the sound of the fireworks outside.

That way we can all have our fun while keeping our pets stress-free and safe!
