Yesterday was a big day for momma Briar. She has had beautiful litters that are just thriving with their families, but the time has come for her to be spayed. So yesterday her surgery happened and today we recover and cuddle. It very bitter sweet for me because I know she loves being a momma so much but it is our job as responsible breeders to do the absolute best for our girls. Urban was kept from her last litter and will hopefully some day fill the big shoes of her momma. Of course there is so much growing, sporting, showing, and health testing that will happen before it is decided that Urban will be bred years from now. So send good vibes Briar’s way as she heals from surgery. ♥️♥️

A great week at the steel valley cluster! Unfortunately I had to work most of the week, but we still made it for two days. Prim and Ford both ran Fast CAT. Ford’s fastest time this week was 26.98mph!!! 😳😳 Prim is less than 3 points from her next title so big ribbon for her incoming next time.

Then today Ford went to play fetch at the fetch trial! He got his Novice title and a qualifying run towards his intermediate. The sport of fetch is so fun and the dogs love it. If you have a dog that loves to play fetch message me and I can tell you more about getting involved in the sport!

Ohh and don’t forget not photographed is baby Urban who showed in conformation throughout the whole show. Proud of her for continuing to learn as just a baby! ♥️♥️

Another amazing weekend of Fast CAT for Ford and Prim. Ford accomplished enough points to get his DCAT. It is amazing to watch how amped they get for this sport. Sad the summer is almost over and the season will be over.

P.s. I will soon have a 1 year old male re-home due to no fault of his own. He has to be evaluated and such first but p m if you may want to add to your pack.

Proud of Urban she spent the last two weeks on the road learning to be a show dog. I loved getting to be there in person on Friday to watch how much fun she was having showing, her tail never stopped. So happy to have her back home and cuddling beside me on the couch.

Yesterday was a Fast CAT day for Ford and Prim. With all the rain we have had it was an absolute mud fest. The picture doesn’t do it justice all dogs and handlers were just covered in mud, it was so much fun.

This is the exact instructor that I did my last 6 weeks with! I was in all three classes with different dogs. If you have been wanting to do any of the following new classes start in May:

Star puppy class starting in June for my families in the Cleveland area! Highly recommend doing Star puppy. Urban and I just finished ours and really loved the class we took. So much fun and get your puppy an AKC title!

Today we made the long trip down to Cincinnati for a fetch trial. It was Ford’s first trial and I’m so happy to say after getting his jitters out on his first run he had a Qualifying Run on his second!! Hopefully we can catch another trial this summer and get his first title!

It was so amazing to meet such a friendly group of people and would highly recommend their events to anyone in the area. Also they had top level title ribbons and can’t wait to get one in the future!
