Meet our “wild child,” Jaxson! 🐾
Jaxson came to Village Way Dog Training over a year ago, and he’s made incredible progress since then. Wanda has seen huge improvements in his obedience, confidence, and overall calmness, and she’s excited to continue watching him grow.
Watching dogs like Jaxson transform is exactly why we love what we do. We can’t wait to see what’s next for this handsome guy! ❤️🐶

We know the pinch collar can be controversial—but when it’s properly fitted and used by an experienced trainer, it’s simply a communication tool. Like any training tool, it’s only as effective as the hands using it.
At VillageWay, we don’t choose methods based on trends or opinions. We choose methods that make physical and psychological sense to the dog. Clear communication creates clarity, confidence, and trust—not confusion.
Our goal is never to intimidate or overpower a dog. It’s to help them understand what’s being asked so they can make better choices and confidently navigate the world alongside their owner.
Every dog is different. Every training plan is individualized. The tool is never the focus—the relationship is.

One of the biggest misconceptions in dog training is that confidence comes from avoiding all discomfort. In reality, growth happens when dogs learn they can safely work through challenges with a trusted leader by their side.
At VILLAGEWAY, we help dogs understand that they don’t have to make every decision on their own. Through clear communication, structure, and guidance, they learn to navigate new situations with confidence and trust.
