🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED — PLUM GROVE, TX 🚨

This mama dog is sitting in the middle of the road because one of her puppies was hit and killed. She stayed there trying to wake her baby up, not understanding why the puppy would not get back up. It is heartbreaking.
We know there are more puppies out there, but at this time we do not know exactly where they are.

We are not on scene and we did not take these photos. We are sharing because this family desperately needs help.

If anyone nearby has space, resources, trapping experience, or can come up with a safe plan to help this mama and locate the remaining puppies, please step forward. She needs safety. Her babies need to be found before more tragedy happens.

Please keep comments positive and productive. Negative comments do not help the dogs. Please do not tell people to “just go get them” unless you personally have a realistic and safe plan in place. Rescue work is not as simple as many think.

Sadly, situations like this are happening constantly. From morning until night, rescues receive emergency calls, heartbreaking photos, and pleas for help. Puppies dumped. Dogs starving. Injured animals suffering. And the truth is, rescues everywhere are overwhelmed.
Shelters are full. Rescues are full. Adoptions are slow. Donations are scarce. Yet the suffering continues to grow.

This is no longer just a rescue problem. The overpopulation crisis has become a community crisis, and there needs to be real intervention, education, accountability, and support before things get even worse.

Right now, this mama and her puppies need help. Please, if you can assist in any way, speak up.
