🐾 PARKER’S GLOW UP 🐾
Meet Parker. She started daycare with us in June, and her story is exactly why Whines & Lickers exists.
Before us, Parker went to a different daycare. They called her “too hyper,” said “the other dogs didn’t like her.” She was crated. Alone. Because she was “too much.”
She’s not too much. She’s a dog who loves to play and run FAST. That’s just Parker.
Her mom brought her to us hoping a smaller, home-like setting would fit better. Day one, I promised her: no matter what, I’ll always be honest about her girl.
The truth was amazing. ✨ Our pack loved her instantly. She played, ran, made friends, and went home happy and exhausted — exactly how daycare should end. Dogs aren’t meant to be cooped up alone all day. They’re meant to play.
Since June, Parker hasn’t looked back. Her mom sent me a text that made my whole week: she doesn’t know what she’d do without daycare with us. Parker’s come out of her shell in the best ways — even her friends have noticed. Happier. More confident.
THAT is why I’ve done this for 5+ years. 🥹
I didn’t build Whines & Lickers to be another big, loud, overcrowded facility where energetic or anxious dogs get labeled “too much.” I built it for the dogs who don’t fit that mold — the ones who need someone to actually learn who they are, not just manage them.
Anxious dog? I’ll go at their pace.
Goofball with main character energy like Parker? I’ll match it.
Not a fan of other dogs? You’ll get one-on-one time, no shame in it.
Every dog here gets learned, paired with the right friends, and given the time and patience they deserve. Never crated just for being energetic, playful, or anxious.
Parker deserved better, and she found it. If your dog has a story like hers, I’d love to meet them. 🐶💛
