An oldie but a goodie! It’s been a minute since we’ve shared some training content, but we’re so back!

Today’s riveting footage features a dog sitting still while we walk in circles. Exciting stuff, we know. 😆

What looks simple is actually an important part of building reliable obedience. We’re practicing distance, patience, and staying in command even when we’re moving around.

Today it’s the in the middle of a plaza, tomorrow it’s coffee shop visits, conversations with neighbors, or answering the front door without your dog following your every move.

A little patience, a lot of repetition, and a few extra steps in for the trainer.

Maybe the secret to a well-trained dog is coffee stops ☕️

Ahsoka and Charlotte settled in at Gurch Coffee Co after training around Downtown Clermont, and their reward for holding command was a little love from the barista. Naturally, our resident socialite approved.

The farmers market is basically Disney World for dogs.
If they can stay focused here, they’re ready for just about anywhere.

What’s not to love about this face?

Missing our car rides with Banner, they were quickly becoming one of our favorite parts of the day 🥰

Turns out filming and dog training at the same time is harder than it looks. 😂

Banner and Charlotte held their place perfectly… until we asked them to look at the camera.

This video ends because training always comes first. When a dog misunderstands a command, we fix it in the moment, not after we finish filming.

So yes… we sacrifice the content for training. Every time.

Pretty sure we accidentally trained a raccoon.
Whatever she is, her recall is solid… so we’re taking the credit.

We had ourselves a little Golden party at Lowe’s 🥳

One of our favorite parts about this work is that training fits right into our everyday life. If we’re headed to Lowe’s to grab supplies for the farm, the dogs come too.
Not a bad way to spend an afternoon

Tongues out, it’s Tuesday. 👅

A camera roll full of happy dogs is never a bad thing and these trainees (and Wh***ey) definitely delivered.

One day you’ll realize it was never really about having an off-leash dog.

It was about moments like this. That’s the kind of freedom we’re after ☀️

Rain or shine, we grind for the gram…
and lately Florida has been very committed to the rain portion.

We finally get out of a drought and now almost every afternoon feels like the parking lot is auditioning to become a retention pond. Still, real-world training means showing up where life happens: wet sidewalks, sliding doors, carts, cars, strangers, and one very patient golden wondering why humans insist on content.

Our shoes may be damp, but the standards are not.
