These were too sweet to leave sitting in the camera roll.

Story’s come a long way with Elena, and while she still has some anxious moments, she’s learning how to lean on her owner for comfort, structure and direction.

That’s a big deal for a nervous dog.

Training doesn’t erase who they are. It helps them understand what to do when the world feels a little too loud.

Just happy panting and a dog who knows the e-collar means we’re about to go do something fun, like a Tractor Supply run. Training should build clarity, confidence and a dog that loves working with you in the real world.

“He listens at home” is only step one.

Trainers Daniel and Lisa were putting in real-world reps with Kobe and Trooper at the farmers market. This is where commands have to hold up outside the house and around real distractions.

Tip: before taking your dog into busier dog-friendly places, make sure they understand the basics at home first. Then start introducing distractions gradually so they can learn how to follow through on commands even when there’s a lot going on around them.
