One of my picks for the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo for FWSSR Mustang Magic! Hint: it’s a bay! These are all wild mustangs waiting to be adopted at the Kansas facility.

40 days until show time! Get your tickets because this event does sell out. We show on Thursday and Friday and finalist for the top 10 freestyle and championship are announced Saturday morning and compete Saturday evening. Tickets to the Saturday finals will get you into the stock show all day. COME EARLY because parking does run out!! Make a day of it!

Huck, along with the other mustangs will all be auctioned off after the freestyles end that evening. It’s going to be a great show. We are working so hard to prepare for the show and for Huck to go to his new home 😭. We have had a few set backs but slow and easy down the road we go. I expect us to be 100% by showtime! Hope you can come out and support us!

Huck sure is gaining muscle and weight. Someone is going to get an AMAZING horse here. He auctions in Fort Worth during Mustang Magic. Huck is one of those special lifetime horses. He’s taking his cues from the dog and pretty sure if he could figure out how he would climb in my lap and lick my face lol. I’ll cry when this one goes but I am confident in his future home being able to take him and absolutely love him.

Let’s get the Huck out of here. Headed home after 5 days of being at the EXCA all week!

Hauled my Mustang Magic horse “Huck”
to a show this week. He handled the stall okay. Each day he gets more relaxed. As the season winds down there won’t be many more shows to expose them to that is similar to what he will have to handle during the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. For 7 weeks from wild he has been doing AMAZING. He hasn’t been sure about kids but after this week he is starting to understand they aren’t ground predators out to get him. He will be available via live auction immediately following the competition in January. Get tickets now because it does sell out. He is phenomenal on the trail I’ll share more about that this week. He has a 2-day trip trail riding trip planned this week! So stick around to see updates from that!
He is so soft in the bit I think he is going to be a great all around horse. Has no problems with obstacles and carries himself carefully over them. He rides well with others too.

I pick up items from our weekly local tack sale all the time. Blankets, sheets, fly sheets get demolished in short order around here with wild and green horses coming in and out. This is a perfect fitting sheet for my Mustang Magic mustang, Huck.

Anyone have any info on this? You think it’s 1977? That would make this sheet 48 years old and proof that “they don’t make ‘em like they used to…”
