🐾 That sunny afternoon walk could be hotter than you think.

Even when the air temperature feels manageable, pavement can heat up quickly and cause painful burns to your pet’s paw pads.

Before heading out, try the 7-second rule:
βœ‹ Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds.

If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for your pet’s paws.

Signs of a paw burn may include:
- Limping
- Excessive paw licking
- Blistering
- Darkened paw pads
- Reluctance to walk

β˜€οΈ Early morning and evening walks are often the safest choice during the summer months.

Being prepared is one of the best ways to protect your pet. Save our number now so you can call us right away if your pet needs emergency care. Our contact card is linked in our bio and can be saved directly to your phone. πŸ“±πŸ’™

Your pet came in for expert care...
Not only did they receive it, but they also got a complimentary Bridgerton dance. πŸŽ»βœ¨πŸ’ƒ

We can't promise amazing dancing at every visit, but we can promise a team that loves what they do (and occasionally has a little fun along the way). πŸ˜…πŸ’™

πŸ’™ Cancer treatment for pets may be different than you think.

One of the biggest surprises for many pet parents? 🐾 Chemotherapy is often much better tolerated in dogs and cats than it is in people.

A few chemotherapy facts you may not know:

✨ Most pets maintain a good quality of life during treatment.
✨ Many pets continue enjoying their favorite activities, walks, meals, and cuddle time.
✨ Side effects are typically mild and may include temporary stomach upset, tiredness, or decreased appetite.
✨ Chemotherapy plans are customized to each individual pet and their specific diagnosis.
✨ Chemotherapy can be used alone or combined with surgery, radiation therapy, or other treatments.

Chemotherapy may be recommended for conditions such as:
πŸ• Lymphoma
πŸ• Osteosarcoma
πŸ• Hemangiosarcoma
πŸ• Mast Cell Tumors
πŸ• Soft Tissue Sarcomas
🐈 And many other types of cancer

At Fetch, our goal is not only to treat cancer but also to help pets maintain the best possible quality of life throughout their treatment journey. ❀️
