It's National Adoption Week, and Lucerna is waiting to meet her person.

Lucerna is an 8-year-old Chihuahua, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She came to us last November after her person passed away, and she's been so brave. She's shy at first, but give her a little time and she warms up and loves you completely. Walks are her favorite thing in the world.

These are just a few of Mama Jackie and baby Jenna's medical bills. Now they have Giardia, not uncommon but needs immediate treatment. This is another cost as this is not included in attached bills and not including mama's upcoming surgery.

Please help and donate as we will have to close intake.

In addition we have been treating Chad nka Kai and is being Neutered the end of the month.

Kenny will be Neutered end of this month as well.

October is National Pit Bul Awareness Month. An annual event dedicated to educating the public, challenging negative stereotypes, and promoting responsible pet ownership of pit bull-type dogs.

This month-long initiative aims to highlight the positive qualities of these misunderstood breeds and encourage adoption ano support for pit bulls and other breeds.
