Happy Labor Day! Fully booked today!

Here’s a video of little Misty who acts traumatized and makes her dad nervous and sad in the driveway when I’m taking her out of the car. The second we get inside, she’s always wagging her tail and giving me kisses. So today I took this video and sent it to her dad ❤️

Dogs in general do not like to leave their owners. That’s totally normal. Don’t get me wrong. Some dogs jump out the window into my arms, but for the most part dogs don’t wanna leave their owners. Usually once they’re away from their owners, they act totally fine and happy. Here’s proof, lol

2 of our adoptables!!

Sparky: 6 yr old Rat terrier/chihuahua mix. 11 lbs. Can live with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He really doesn’t like to share his people, treats or food. Fun little guy who can be shy and hesitant with new people and surroundings.

Sparky’s forever family should be familiar with little dogs that have big personalities. When uncomfortable or pushed beyond his comfort level he will definitely choose violence, no kids for this guy. He has come a long way and does best with calm quiet patience and going slow. He has come SO FAR since we pulled him out of the County shelter and really deserves a loving home of his very own.

Sassy: 4 yr old female Pomski. Currently 29 lbs but is on a weight loss journey and her goal weight is about 24 lbs. Sassy is a super fun girl who is ball obsessed, loves to go for walks and rides in the car. Sassy is our special needs girl as she does have Addison’s disease. Dogs can and do live full lifespans with Addison’s disease with daily and monthly medication. She is a very, very good fun girl who deserves a loving family who will take care of her properly for the rest of her life. She can live with another dog, but would probably prefer to be the only dog. She’s beautiful & such a happy girl.

Ps. If you’re a previous client and you’re out there in the wild, shop hopping with your dog trying to find a groomer you’re happy with and you want to come back, and your dog is under 40 lbs, just text me to get back in the schedule. I currently have weekday afternoon appointments available. 😉

First of all , I will not be held hostage to threats of bad reviews by clients ( now previous clients) who don’t get what they want.

Second, Most of my existing clients know this already but just in case, and for the new clients, when you text requesting an appointment and I respond with appointment dates and times and you pick one, if I do not respond with a confirmation text that you do in fact have that appointment, you do not have that appointment.

You will also always get a reminder text whether it be the night before or early in the morning of that day confirming your appointment. If you do not get a reminder text, you do not have an appointment.

If there is any confusion about any of this, please feel free to call the Salon 727-831-6729 and speak with me directly.

And third, having your spouse call and yell at me and threaten me with bad reviews all over the Internet is not going to create an appointment when there wasn’t one to begin with. I work by myself and I cannot “squeeze you in” when you did not have an appointment. Even tho, in this case, I was willing to and canceled my dentist appointment in order to groom their dog and then they came back, banging on my door, demanding their dog back because they were not happy.

This is a hill I will die on.

I do not recommend shaving double coated dogs. The only exception would be if they were pelted from being neglected and abused and that would be a rescue situation. An owned dog should never be in that condition.

That being said, I do have a few Pomeranian clients who are shaved. I have informed the owners of all the info. They don’t care and they want their dogs shaved. So I do it. But I do not recommend it.
