AUGUST UPDATE

August was another busy month here at Hank’s Bark Box!

Before we get to the numbers, I want to thank everyone who continue to make this possible. The last couple of months have been challenging for Heather and me, and while I’m still under some restrictions, Hank’s Bark Box continues because of this incredible community.

From those who donate food, bring donations and help stock the box, every bit of help matters.

A special thank you to Stacey Ward with St. Pete Shopping Company for her never ending support of our mission.

This has always been a community effort, and this community is truly the heart of everything we do.

Now, on to the August numbers:

Dry Dog Food – 2471 lbs
Canned Dog Food – 661 lbs
Dry Cat Food – 1061 lbs
Canned Cat Food – 1060 lbs

Total for August: 4724 lbs or 2.38 tons!

Grand Total Since We Began:
186,094 lbs or 93.02 TONS!

Every pound represents a pet that was fed and a family that received a little help when they needed it.

Thank you all for continuing to support Hank’s Bark Box and helping us keep pets fed and in the homes where they belong.

All of you continue to make this all possible.

We’re back, baby!!! 🎉🐾

We’ve spent the past week deep cleaning the rescue, sanitizing everything in sight, and airing out our kennels outside to make sure the kennel cough is officially TOAST. Bye!!! 👋😂

And that means… ADOPTION EVENTS ARE BACK!

Join us Saturday, September 5th from 10AM–2PM at Mercy Full Project! We have so many incredible dogs and cats waiting to meet their people, and after a very long week of cleaning, we are SO ready to see y’all again. ❤️

BRING PARKER HOME 🐾
Parker needs YOUR help — urgently!
Parker was adopted from Canine Estates in 2014. After his family situation changed, he ended up in Virginia and was recently found wandering the streets severely matted and neglected. He has been surrendered back to us and the person in charge has been charged with neglect. Now our mission is to get Parker back home to Florida where he can be healed, and loved the way he deserves.
