May Update

As May comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone in our community who donated dog and cat food this month. Every food donation helps insure families facing hard times can keep their pets fed and at home where they belong.

Dry Dog Food: 2,195 lbs
Canned Dog Food: 576 lbs
Dry Cat Food: 1,533 lbs
Canned Cat Food: 304 lbs

That’s a total of 4,609 lbs or 2.31 tons in the moth of May alone.

This brings our grand total since the beginning to 170,803 lbs or 85.40 tons.

Also, as of June 1st, hurricane season is officially underway. If you have pets, please take a few moments to review our pinned post, which contains important hurricane preparedness information, resources, and tips to help keep your furry family members safe during storm season.

Pinellas County Animal Services is bringing free pet care services to the community with our Mobile Pet Clinic on Saturday, May 30! 🐶🐱



📍 North Greenwood Recreation Center

900 N Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Clearwater, FL



🗓 Saturday, May 30, 2026

⏰ 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM



FREE services include:

✔️ Wellness exams

✔️ Rabies vaccines

✔️ Microchips



🐾 Pet licenses required, and available on site:

$23 for 1 year

$46 for 3 years



Limit of 3 pets per household. Services are first come, first served while supplies last.
