5 years ago today Riggs earned his Hunting Retriever Champion Title. He was just shy of 2 years old. He has been the perfect partner in my journey with dogs and taught me as much as I’ve taught him 🤍

Blue is a puppy we picked out for a client at 8 weeks old. His last gundog passed many years ago and he was finally ready to start the journey again. The goal: a weekend gun dog who had the drive for Kansas goose hunts. A superior off switch in the house and ultimately a daily companion to work alongside him on his cattle ranch.

At only 7.5 months old I could have never imagined a better puppy for this client. He absolutely loves to retrieve, no surprise with his genetics. More impressively he is one of the most easy going, stable and biddable puppies we’ve ever raised. Looking forward to the next few months of training with this awesome pup!
