Today is the last day to order our Golden tees in time for Halloween.

Each one is made to order and takes almost two weeks, so orders placed today, Thursday, October 15, should be there by October 31.

Trick or Retrieve, our candy corn Golden, in Black or Pepper. Will Do Tricks for Treats, our Golden with his jack-o'-lantern bucket, in Butter, Ivory or White. $19.99 each, sizes S to 4XL, soft Comfort Colors tees with our Rosewood mark on the sleeve.

One of each ships free, and code GOLDEN5OCT26 takes $5 off orders of $25 or more.

Which one are you wearing on Halloween? The links are in the first comment.

Matt

Chloe had her puppies on Monday! She had 5 little boys and 2 little girls. They will be medium to light in color and go home on Saturday, December 5th.

I will be calling through the Premium Waiting List tomorrow, Thursday, October 15th, starting at 4:45 pm to collect deposits. Please ask any questions before this time.

Those on the Premium Waiting List get 48 hours to place a deposit before we offer the remaining puppies to the free waiting list and general public.

New to Rosewood? Here's how the Premium Waiting List works. It holds your place in line for $20 a month. When a litter is born, we call through the list in order, from our longest member to our newest. If a litter isn't the right fit, no big deal. You keep your spot for the next one. Most of our puppies are spoken for by the list before anyone else gets a chance, so if a Rosewood puppy is in your future, this is the way in. The link is in the first comment.

God bless,
Matt

The first night home is the loudest. It gets easier fast.

A Golden puppy has slept in a warm pile with its littermates every night of its life. Then one night, the pile is gone. That is why the first night is loud.

What helps tonight: set the crate where the puppy can hear you breathe. Make the last trip outside right before bed. Keep the middle of the night trip boring, quiet, no play, straight back to the crate. Some crying is normal. The first nights are the hardest, and then it turns fast.

Golden Companion builds the rest of the plan for your own Golden, and it changes as they grow. Try it free, no account needed to start. The link is in the first comment.

Happy 2nd birthday, Java!

Java is one of ours, and today he turns two. He's a Critical Response K9. He works beside fire, police and paramedics, on the scene and off it, helping the people who help all of us stay steady through the hardest calls.

None of that happens by accident. Renee has poured her heart into Java, training him day after day while working hard at her own job too. Renee, we are so proud of you.

She told us about a day out of town at a conference. As they were leaving, a friend called Java's name from a truck. She let him go, the door opened, and Java found his spot. Right in the driver's lap.

He also won the community vote at the Battle of the Badges blood drive. Of course he did.

Thank you, Renee, and everyone at Mandan Cares, for loving him so well and sharing him with us. Watching the two of you do this work is one of the best parts of what we do.

Are you one of Java's littermates from Mary and Solomon's litter? Happy 2nd birthday to you too! Drop a photo and an update in the comments. We'd love to see how you've grown.

God bless,
Matt

Meet the White collar boy! šŸ¤

He's the last of Sheba and Finnigan's three boys, four weeks old and dark red just like Mom and Dad. He started way out in the yard and came all the way in for his close up.

He already has his family, and they're going to love him.

Now you've met all three. Lime, Maroon or White, who's your favorite? Tell us in the comments.

Hoping for a Rosewood Golden of your own? The waiting list link is in the first comment.

Most breeders pick your puppy for you at four weeks old. We do not.

You choose your own on pick up day, once their personalities have finally shown up. It is your dog, so you should be the one who picks.

God bless, Matt

Game 2 is today, and our Brewers are up in the NLCS! Goose, Clark, Murphy, Yeli and Winnie already showed up in their Brewers best. Is your Golden next?

Drop a photo of your Rosewood Golden cheering on the Brew Crew in the comments, and tell us your favorite player while you're at it. We'll gather them up for the next showcase.

Go Brewers!

God bless,
Matt
