About 18 lbs

She is a social gal once she bonds with you. She has gotten along with many dogs and interact with them well.
She has no serious health problems, however, keep in mind, she is a senior doggie.

She was dumped at the shelter by her owners who lied and say they found her on an local college campus.
She spent a few rough days at the shelter as she was throwing up blood and quite skinny but the medical team was with her every step of the way and realized the likelihood was that she ate something.
Of course the POS owners lied did not tell any of the shelter staff that this was happening.

She was spayed today,
An originally was told that she was ten years old..... The vet adjusted her age down to 6 to 7 years old due to obvious signs.
Her teeth were cleaned and her ears were checked...... And she is doing quite well gaining weight back.

It doesn't take her long to like you as long as the first interaction is slow and calm, I won her over in the lobby of the shelter in just a few minutes, of course the bag of treats helped.

💔 SHE WAS NEXT… BUT NOT ANYMORE.

Meet Georgia. 🍑

This sweet 2-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix was at CCAS and moments from the euthanasia list when we rescued her just in time.

We may never know her full past, but one thing is clear: she just wants to love and be loved.

Georgia hates kennels and wants to be with her people snuggled on the couch, in your lap, or in bed. She is also up for adventures like walks, car rides, and exploring.

🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Good with dogs, cats & respectful kids
🐾 Loves companionship (especially other dogs) Will need a friend in order to thrive.
🐾 Active dog
🐾 Cuddly + Adventurous
🐾would prefer someone who works from home or home most of the time.

She is ready for a forever home where she can finally feel safe and loved.

Still in search of her forever home. 😞

Meet sweet Athena 🖤🤍
Athena is a two-year-old tuxedo mama who has been done raising babies since Jan 2026 and has been patiently waiting for a forever home of her very own.

She is incredibly sweet, a true lap cat who loves to cuddle, and she is delightfully chatty when she wants attention.

One of her favorite moves? A little prance right up to your hand to ask for pets.

Now that motherhood is behind her, Athena is enjoying being a kitten again. She is playful, affectionate, and would likely love having a feline friend in her forever home, maybe even one of her own kittens. 🐾

Athena has spent enough time watching everyone else get their happy ending.

Maybe tomorrow, it will finally be hers.

Update-ADOPTED

From severe neglect to LOVED… Now Millie needs a forever home! ❤️

Millie and her brother Moxxie were pulled from Antioch Animal Services in July as severe neglect cases. Since then, they have been thriving in foster care and learning what it means to just be DOGS.

And now… MILLIE IS READY FOR ADOPTION!

Introducing Millie

Millie is a 1½-year-old Yorkie Terrier with a whole lot of personality packed into one tiny body.

She is:
-Playful and silly
-Great with other dogs & Good with cats
-Loves people
-Always ready for an adventure

Her foster parents have introduced her to a whole new world, and Millie is soaking up EVERY second of it.

She is still learning her manners and working on potty training, but she has already made incredible progress. She just needs a family willing to keep teaching her everything she should have been taught from the beginning.

A few months ago, Millie was simply trying to survive.

Now she gets to choose between the lake, the boat, the couch… and hopefully very soon, her FOREVER HOME. ❤️

🖤 Ready to fall in love with a mini Panther? 🖤

Black cats are some of the sweetest, funniest, most loving cats we know… yet somehow, they tend to wait the longest for homes.

And right now, we have quite a few still waiting. So this Saturday, we are bringing the mini panthers to Pet Food Express in Rockridge from 11–2!

Meet the crew:

🐾 Basalt • 1 year
One eye, HUGE heart. Basalt is the sweetest boy who just wants to be your perfect companion. He loves cuddles, kisses, and being close to his people.

🐾 Charles Darwin & Isaac Newton • 4–5 months
Our brilliant little brothers! Playful, affectionate, and packed with kitten energy. They love chasing toys, wrestling, treats, and hanging out with the resident cats in their foster home.

🐾 Boogie • 4 months
Boogie has mild cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which gives him his adorable wobble—but don't tell him he's different! He RUNS. He CLIMBS. He WRESTLES. He CUDDLES. And he gets along with cats and dogs.

🐾 Gengar • 3–4 months
Floofy little lovebug! Gengar loves to play, explore, and adventure before settling in for cuddle time. She does great with other cats, kids, and respectful dogs.

🐾 Saroo • 5–6 months
Just the BEST boy. Saroo loves playing with his friends and curling up with his people. He especially loves cuddling with his foster buddy Joy Elizabeth. He is ready to stop being someone's foster and start being someone's best friend. ❤️

Black cats shouldn't have to wait longer just because of the color of their fur.

Cornelius 4 years (aka Cornwall at CCC and I call him Cornelius Corndog) is available for adoption.
45lb lowrider bulldoggie mix

Medically and behaviorally cleared.
Since Corn Dog moved in, he is a happy guy.

He does have a bit of separation anxiety and chirps when he's left alone.

He is a playful guy who really wants a friend to play with, and gets along with many dogs.
He recently spent the whole day with a friend of mine and her three male bully dogs. He got along with two of them, the third one not so much.
I never cat test bullies, it's just not what I do.

Due to the structure of his body because of really irresponsible breeding, he is not one to go on long walks. If you look at his feet, they're like weeble wobbles on the bottom and they're not meant for a lot of cement travel. Also if you look at him, it almost looks like he's walking on his wrists but since he has been at the Shelter and then with rescue, he is standing taller. We see a lot of this with the bullies due to really irresponsible breeding and also because these animals have been kenneled most of their lives , and they never developed the muscles in their feet. I think corn dog is a victim of both combined.

He would do best in a home where people are kind of lazy, or allow him to be kind of lazy. He loved being in a wagon and going around and seen all the people at a local adoption event recently. He loves people, i mean really really loves people.
If you are someone that wants an imperfectly perfect doggy: he might be the one for you.

She raised five babies. They found their families. So why is their mama still waiting? 💔

Meet Joy Elizabeth, and come meet her in person this Saturday, Sept 5th, from 11 AM–2 PM at Pet Food Express in Rockridge!

Joy Elizabeth is about 1½ years old and is everything you could want in a companion. Before it was her turn to be loved, she devoted herself to raising five beautiful kittens, taking incredible care of them until they were old enough to head off to their foster homes.

Now it's finally Joy's turn. ❤️

Joy Elizabeth is affectionate, playful, easygoing girl. She loves people, enjoys watching the world from the window, loves to play, and gets along wonderfully with other cats. Would be okay with respectful dogs. She truly is the total package.

All she is missing is a family to call her own.
